The Reckoning

The travel to Mystic Falls was a long one. Especially that every few minutes, Amber had to snap Stefan's neck. The female heretic knew something was wrong the moment Stefan asked her about who they were running from. Stefan tried to get the information out of her which is why, when it came to snapping his neck she felt some type of relief.

Stefan groaned but quickly jolted back up once he saw Amber sitting on the edge of the truck. "Oh, he lives."

"What happened?" Stefan asked.

"You took a beating. I've been breaking your neck all afternoon." She got off the hood of a car and walked towards him. "I have my brother's temper, if you ask me."

Stefan tried to get up, "Why did he bring us to Mystic Falls?"

Amber rolled her eyes, "You can stop playing dumb now. It didn't take him long to figure out what you've been hiding?"

"I'm not hiding anything. I have done everything Klaus has asked me to.

Amber slightly sighs and looks at Stefan, "No you just failed to mention that the doppelganger's still alive."

"Where is Klaus now?" Stefan asked.

"Um, with any luck ripping that cow's bloody head off." Amber replied to him.

Stefan rushes towards her and they both fly out and onto the ground, him on top of her. "Where is she?" Stefan asked.

"You really do love her, don't you?" she commented, before Amber continued she gets up and pushes him against the truck, punches him and takes a crowbar and she puts the hook of the crowbar on his neck and pulls him toward her.

"Consider me jealous". She continued, then Amber drove the crowbar through his stomach.

Klaus is holding onto Elena's arm as he is walking down through the school hallways. "You put a rather large kink in my plans, sweetheart. The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids. I haven't been able to do that. Now my bet is, it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing."

"If you're going to kill me, just do it." Elena pleaded.

"Not until, I know I'm right. But I do have my ways of making you suffer."

He pulls into the gym. As they come in, it is shown that there are students in the gym setting up pranks. "Attention, seniors. You have officially been busted. Prank night is over. Head on home" Klaus spoke with an american accent.

Two students catch his eye. He moves closer to them, "You two. I remember you." Klaus said in his normal voice. "I'm sorry. Who are you?" the girl asked.

"Oh, don't worry, I wasn't in my right head last time we met." he compels her, "Lift your foot, please, Dana."

She lifts her foot up, Klaus looks at the other student. "If she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death. Understood.?" Klaus asked and Chad responds by nodding.

"Don't, Klaus. You don't have to hurt anybody." Elena commented.

"Oh, come on, love. Of course I do."

Caroline and Tyler are in the hallway. She's putting honey on the lockers. Tyler kisses her shoulder and head from behind. "Do you think Matt's going to be okay?" Caroline asked.

"I'm kissing you and you're wondering about your ex-boyfriend?"

"I'm asking you if you think our friend, who we both love, is okay."
