The podcast episode finally uploads. Everyone tuning in on both Alixandras channel and Devons podast, waiting for the release. Devon posted his classic audio and Alixandra uploaded a visual version. The setup for the visuals was vastly different than either fan had ever seen, them both sitting at a table, across from one another with table mics and headphones adorning each teen.

"Hey, Remember the year a group of deranged trick-or-treaters broke into the Candy Emporium downtown?" Alix laughs slightly, reminiscing of the absurd amount of candy she received that Halloween. "It wasn't pretty."

"You know, just last year, Mrs. Fairchild sliced her hand while carving pumpkins?" He fills Alix in. "She ended up with 15 stitches."

"Jesus. I don't think it helps that Halloween just so happens to land on a full moon." Alix adjusts the mic in front of her.

"Another sign of doom and destruction." Devon looks over at the camera. "So tonight hackenslashers, be on the lookout for all kinds of shit to really hit the fan."

...

Juniors dad sat in the front seat, driving the boys to school. He looks into the rearview mirror at his son. "Remind me, what's your protein intake this week?"

"Uh, 50 grams a day?" He comes up with a logical number, not including the possible amount in the quest bars Alix had been feeding him all week.

"Oof, you should bump that up to 75." He looks in the rearview then back at the road ahead.

"Dad, state's not till the 15th. Plus, I'm not a sprinter, and I only weighed 105 this morning."

"We don't want you getting injured a week before the most important race of your life. Just have a Clif Bar before lunch, okay?

"Okay." Junior sits back in his seat, praying that Alix brings another quest bar for him. Maybe then he'll check the protein in it, or actually the nutrition label entirely. He hadn't been focusing on all of that, and just eating the bar that she'd hand him.

...

Alixandra gives her dad a kiss on the cheek before stepping out the car. "Bye papi, love you."

"Love you too mamita. I'll be here in the front waiting right afterschool, okay?" She nods her head. "Did you tell the band to be at the house before 6?"

"Yeah I told them."

"Good. Cause if not imma leave their ass there and they can walk." Alix laughs at her father's statement and so does he. "Okay, have a good day."

"I will papi. Be safe at work. " She closes the door and turns on her heel, spotting Junior talking with Oliver. She rushes up to the pair, catching a bit of their conversation.

"My parents arein London for the weekend, so it's gonna be sick." Alix walks beside the two.

"I don't have a costume." Jake responds, not yet noticing Alix.

"It's all right." Oliver nods his head and smiles towards Alix, her reciprocating it. "Hey L."

Jake finally looks beside him to see Alix.

"You should come Jake, it's gonna be fun. Me and De will be there if anything."

"I'll think about it." He states to the girl and Oliver shrugs, smiling.

"Fine by me. I'll see you at 6, L"

"Yeah." She nods as Oliver walks away and Jake just looks at her, flabbergasted. "What?"

"What was that?" She looks at him confused before he mimics her. "Yeah." She hits his arm. "You looked so starstruck."

"shut up, no i didn't."

"Uh yeah you did." The pair walk right past Junior and Lexy, the couple overhearing their conversation. "You looked in love." Jake and Alix walk inside.

...

"She has such a punchable face. So annoying." Lexy rolls her eyes, turning her head towards Junior, who holds a tight grip on his backpack. "Hello, babe?"

The bell rings, knocking Junior out of his trance. "Yeah." He coughs and begins walking with her. "Yeah."

He holds Lexys hand, walking into the hallway. "So what are you wearing tonight?"

Lexy just looks at her boyfriend, smirking. "You'll see."

"I don't know. What if I'm not into it?"Junior Jake and Alix at the end of the hallway, laughing as they each grab stuff from their lockers.

"I wasn't aware I had to get your approval." Lexy just looks over at her boyfriend.

"Did you get Oliver's approval?" Junior lets go of Lexys hand, and she looks at him baffled.

"I might if you keep pushing me."

"Sorry, sorry. So what is it? Hot Hermione? Hot Hit‐Girl? Hot harlot?" They now make it close to Jake and Alix and Junior begins overhearing their conversation, ignoring Lexys last statement.

"Down, bae. It's a surprise. But I promise you it's gonna be hot."

"Should've just dressed up like Hot Hermione, I would've killed that shit." Alix closes her locker as Jake shakes his head at her antics.

Juniors mind suddenly filled with Alixandras costume rather than his girlfriends, and he wonders what her costume is. With Alix, it didn't matter if she was "hot" something or not, because she'd look good regardless. He just grew curious as to what it was, and he was more excited to see her costume than Lexys.

...

The routine she had grown to enjoy was cut short after what she perceived as a falling out with Junior. He had begun to ignore her in class, her only feeling his gaze burn into her back, and he also stopped with his usual bickering in other subjects and walking together to their shared classes.

She had been fine with it, as she was still upset and slightly hurt at being stood up the previous afternoon.  So when he had stopped her on their way to bio, she turned to him confused.

He grabbed her shoulder, stopping her in their tracks. "L"

She turned at the voice and nickname. "Uhm, hi?" She holds her tote bag, dragging her hand down the handle, gripping the bottom.

He hadn't really thought of what to say to her, so he had just stuttered out a reply. "I just wanted to  apologize for yesterday. Lexy had me stay back and help her with- something." Intimacy is what she used to keep him behind, knowing he was supposed to meet with Alix. "I'm also sorry for ignoring you and just being a jerk."

"Don't worry about it." Alix just awkwardly replied, her mouth forming a line. "I'm sure whatever you were doing with your girlfriend was important." She hadn't meant to come off as sarcastic. He had grown a bit of guilt because it wasn't important. "Either way, I wasnt waiting that long anyways. Left after like ten minutes." She lied through her teeth, not wanting him to know that she waited for a long time.

An hour and a half. That's how long she waited for him. And they both knew that. Junior knew that she sat on the floor against the locker beside their own. He knew she waited and he knew she was upset that he ditched her. And he knew that she knew what that "something" was with him and Lexy. An hour and a half is what she waited for him while he was off making out with his girlfriend.

He pretended like he didn't know anything. "Oh okay, that's good. Wouldn't have wanted you to wait a long time for me." He lied through his teeth. "So are we okay?" He looks at her and asks the question.

She didn't know how to respond, but the one-minute bell rang, indicating they were about to be late to class. "We're gonna be late." She just turned around at the sound of the bell, walking into the bio, and he just stands there for a few seconds, sighing at his fuck-up.

"Idiot." he mutters and walks into biology.
