All Those Little Things

Chapter 1: First Sight

"Kyla you'll be late for school. It's your first day!", mom shouted as she knocked on the door.

"Oh my gosh it's already 6:30 in the morning!", I directly run to the bathroom.

Hi I'm Kyla McLay. It's my first day in highschool and I don't want to be late.
Damn, I didn't hear my alarm clock ringing at 5 am.

"Mom should I bring all my stuffs today?", I asked while walking down the stairs. "Of course dear", mom answered instantly. "But it's still the first day of school", mom stare at me with a poker face. "OK fine I'll bring it all"

While in the car, I keep praying to not to be late and GOSH there's a traffic!

"Lord please"

"Lord please don't"

"Lord I believe in you"

"Lord.."

"Kyla what's wrong with you?"
my mind awake, "Oh nothing mom just drive fastly"

Minutes later..

"Kyla be good at school, I'll pick you after school", mom reminded. "OK mom gotta go!", then I run very fast inside the school gate and it's already the flag ceremony. Where should I line up? I don't even know what section I am? Pft.

So I stroll at the school's corridor, finding my section, looking for my name.

1st floor, none.
2nd floor, none.
3rd floor, none.

Am I really enrolled in this school.
*Goes to the other building*

1st floor, none.
2nd floor, none.

The last chance I ever had, third floor. If there's none I'm gonna cry.

"Lord please", I whisper to myself.
"Aha! Yes!", I'm so happy I found it after a long journey here in school.
I look for a seat. Gosh I don't even know my classmates, none of them seems to be familiar but it's ok 'coz some of them are in the flag ceremony. I just take a short nap because I'm still tired and sleepy.

"Hey!!"
"Ohhh!!"

I suddenly awake because of the noise.
