"Hmm..." Marc grumbled softly, cuddling into Nathaniel's chest as the redhead's arms wrapped around Marc's waist in order to pull him closer.

"You finally awake now?" Nathaniel asked with a soft chuckle, eyes glossed over from
a mixture of sleepiness and contentment. The pale morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm, golden hue across the room.

Marc nodded, his eyes still half-lidded as he snuggled further into Nathaniel's embrace. "Yeah," he mumbled, his voice laced with sleep. "I could stay like this forever."

Nathaniel's lips curled into a tender smile as he pressed a gentle kiss to Marc's forehead. "I wouldn't mind that at all," he whispered. "But we do have plans for today, remember?"

Marc sighed softly, but there was a hint of excitement in his voice. "Right, the picnic in the park. I almost forgot."

Nathaniel chuckled softly, his fingers tracing idle patterns on Marc's back. "Can't blame you for wanting to stay in bed all day with me," he teased.

They lay there for a few more moments, simply enjoying the warmth of each other's presence. Marc's mind began to wander, and he couldn't help but think about how lucky he was to have Nathaniel in his life. Their relationship had blossomed from a deep friendship, and now they were inseparable.

As they finally mustered the energy to get out of bed, Nathaniel stood and stretched, his lean form illuminated by the soft morning light. Marc couldn't help but admire the way the sunlight danced across Nathaniel's freckles and tousled red hair. It was moments like these that made Marc fall in love with him all over again.

"Come on," Nathaniel said, holding out a hand to help Marc up. "Let's get ready for our picnic."

Marc took Nathaniel's hand, and they both headed to the bathroom to freshen up. They showered quickly, taking turns to save time, and then dressed in comfortable, casual clothes for their day in the park.

Once they were ready, Marc grabbed a picnic basket filled with sandwiches, fruits, and snacks, while Nathaniel gathered a blanket and a frisbee for some recreational fun. They left their apartment hand in hand, the excitement for the day ahead bubbling between them.

The park was alive with the colors of spring. Flowers in full bloom lined the pathways, and children played on the swings and slides. Marc and Nathaniel found a quiet spot beneath a tree and spread out their blanket. The scent of freshly cut grass filled the air as they settled down.

Nathaniel began to unpack the picnic basket, laying out a delicious spread. "I hope you're hungry," he said, grinning.

Marc's stomach rumbled in response, making them both laugh. "Starving," he admitted.

They enjoyed their meal, sharing stories and laughter, the warmth of their love enveloping them like a cocoon. After they ate, Nathaniel suggested they play a game of frisbee. Marc agreed, and they started tossing the colorful disc back and forth.

As they played, Marc couldn't help but notice how Nathaniel's eyes sparkled with joy. The simple act of being together, surrounded by nature, was enough to make their day perfect.

Hours passed, and the sun began its descent toward the horizon. They lay on the blanket, fingers intertwined, watching the shifting colors of the sky. Marc rested his head on Nathaniel's shoulder, feeling completely at peace.

"I love moments like these," Nathaniel whispered, his voice barely audible above the gentle breeze.

Marc smiled, his heart swelling with affection. "Me too," he replied softly. "I love being with you, Nathaniel."

Nathaniel turned his head and pressed a soft kiss to Marc's forehead. "I love you too, Marc."

Their tender moment was interrupted by a series of giggles nearby. They looked up to see a group of children playing, some dressed in makeshift Ladybug and Chat Noir costumes. It was a sight that brought a fond smile to both Marc and Nathaniel's faces.

"Looks like Ladybug and Chat Noir have some fans," Nathaniel remarked.

Marc chuckled. "They do. But you know what? We have our own miraculous love story, right here."

As the sun continued to set, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink, Marc and Nathaniel stayed in their little spot under the tree, wrapped up in each other's arms. The children playing nearby eventually moved on, and the park grew quieter as the day transitioned into evening.

Nathaniel sighed contentedly, his fingers gently tracing circles on Marc's back. "I'm so grateful for moments like these," He said. "Life can get so busy and chaotic, but when we're together like this, everything feels perfect."

Marc nodded in agreement, his eyes fixed on the horizon.

"So, ready to head home?" He added as a tiny gust of wind sent a shiver down his spine.

Nathaniel nodded, helping Marc up from the blanket. They folded it neatly, and Nathaniel collected the frisbee, making sure to pick up any trash they had generated during their picnic. They left the park, hand in hand, with the memory of their perfect day etched into their hearts.

As they walked back to their apartment, the fading sunlight painted the city in warm hues, casting long shadows across the streets. Marc and Nathaniel talked about their favorite moments from the day, laughing about their failed attempts at catching the frisbee and reminiscing about the children dressed as Ladybug and Chat Noir.

When they arrived home, the tranquility of the park gave way to the comfort of their shared space. Marc and Nathaniel settled into their usual routine, preparing a simple dinner together. The soft glow of the evening sun bathed their kitchen in a warm, inviting light.

Over dinner, they discussed their plans for the upcoming weekend, contemplating whether they should go on a short road trip or explore a nearby hiking trail. As they talked, Marc couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by a sense of contentment. The love he felt for Nathaniel had deepened with time, and he cherished the ordinary moments they shared just as much as the extraordinary ones.

After dinner, they decided to watch a movie, cuddled up on the couch beneath a cozy blanket. Marc rested his head on Nathaniel's shoulder, feeling the gentle rise and fall of his chest with each breath. The movie provided a backdrop, but their quiet moments of shared intimacy spoke volumes.

As the night wore on, they eventually retired to their bedroom, slipping under the covers. Nathaniel wrapped his arms around Marc, pulling him close once more.
