Scully usually sits by the fireplace with his family on Christmas Eve, but that has changed this year. Scully drove up to Mulder's apartment late, it was 11:00 p.m., parked in the parking lot outside his block, took the key out of the ignition, opened the glove box, and took out a medium-sized box of butterflies in her stomach, because she was in love with him for a while, but they were just friends, nothing else, she got out of the car and locked it, went to his block and entered the elevator, she was very happy to see Mulder and spend time with him. She got off the elevator, went to the mulder's door and knocked several times, but no one answered. Scully got a little sad and said, "Hi Mulder, can you open it for me while you're there?" No one answered, however, so Scully took out the keys to his apartment and entered. Scully looked at Mulder and said, "Oh my God, I'm so sorry."Mulder said, "But why did you come to me?" To which Scully replied "after all, no one can be alone at Christmas" and smiled at him slightly, Mulder blushed and hugged her, after a warm hug she said "I have something for you" and smiled, Mulder replied to her "and you know what? I have something for you too.And they exchanged gifts. Mulder offered Scully wine, but Scully did not refuse. while drinking wine they talked about everything, after two large glasses of wine Scully lay down on Mulder's shoulder but mulder instead of not paying attention he grabbed her face and started to bring his face closer to hers, Scully blushed all over, mulder grabbed her mouth with his and brushed her hair away from her face Scully put her hands around his neck. When Mulder stopped kissing Scully, she said to him, "Mulder, do you realize we just broke our barrier?" Mulder honestly replied to her, "Yes, I realize that, but eventually one of us would do it," and blushed. Scully said, "Honestly, it's true," and she had those butterflies again. Mulder invited her to stay with him for the night as it was snowing heavily outsidehe didn't want her to come back like this, Scully accepted the offer a second time, but in her mind she really wanted to accept it right away, but she was afraid she would find it pushy. Mulder said to sleep in the bedroom because that's where he will sleep for sure, Scully wanted to ask him if he would lie down next to her and hug her to help her fall asleep faster, but she didn't because she thought he would find her very strange, Mulder asked her, that he is going to sleep. "Scully, do you want to sleep alone?" Which Scully wanted to agree to, but actually preferred to go to bed with him. Scully slipped out and she said no and Mulder blushed. He must have been surprised, but he had no problem with it and lay down next to her.
