Hours later, I finally arrived to my new home, Monaco. The pinnacle of luxury life, and a place I, oddly, always dreamt of living on.

I went around the streets of Montecarlo, no way to call no-one, and just a few euros on my bag. I was trying to find my new place, a small attic, but that was enough for me.

When I arrived, the owner was there, waiting to show me the attic, and all it's relevant stuff I needed to know about.

After she left, I really didn't have anything to unpack, just a few mismatched clothes, those I could pick the fastest.

Then, I saw that there was a landline just over the kitchen counter, that was very weird, but at the same time, exactly what I needed. I went over, and dialed a number.

Stella! Are you alright? -it was my mom, the only one that knew about my situation-

Hi mom, I'm fine, I finally escaped from him, I'm finally safe. I arrived to my dream city -I said, short sentences, as if the time after he would come back ran out, the things I grew a habit on-

I can send you some money, you'll need it there

Yeah, I have no savings left, but firstly I'll need to create a bank account and all that, then you can send that to me

I hope I can see you soon, mi manchi mia ragazza... (𝘐 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳)

After that, I went out to the streets, to make everything I needed to start a new life, that meant bank accounts, and other necessities, like a spot in the International University of Monaco, for the psychology degree.

After getting the money on my newly-made account, I bought some food, just simply starting to life my new life, after all.

Then, with my hands full of the groceries, I arrived to the apartment, since I can't call it still a home.

I didn't have anything to do, since my classes started in three days, and today was Thursday, I ended putting everything on it's place, that being the time where I realized that I don't have anything, tech-related here.

They weren't important, and I was sure, on the back of my mind, that he could locate me if I took them with me. But now, I really needed them for my classes.

I took the backpack again, and, suddenly I heard knocking on the door. I feared the worst.

Getting a rolling pin I found in the kitchen, I got closer to the door, looking through the peephole, and saw a guy.
