To-Do List
They had not the slightest clue what they were doing

⮽ Anymore
⮽ With their life
⮽ At all
They were simply doing,
Living–attempting to live their life
But only living vicariously
⮽ Through others
⮽ Through books
⮽ Through movies and TV shows
They longed–how deeply they longed
To do all the things,
To live all the various scenarios
That went through their brain
⮽ Day in and day out,
⮽ Sunset to sunrise
–always dreaming and never achieving any of the things they dreamed
For dear, the anxiety, would take hold–
Hold them captive,
A prisoner trapped in a prison of their own making.
