Venus opened her locker, seeing a note fall. Grabbing it.
"Oh wow.. it is a love note.. It reads.."
'Roses are red, violets are blue, you are bright like the sun -Ps: you're secret admirer, meet me in the gym'
"Cute!" Hope replied
"I- am not so sure ab-"
"You should go! Really!" Hope interrupted pushing her into the gym and seeing Caleb, Venus's middle school love. As she went to gag he asked to take another try at dating.
"No thanks, Caleb"
"But why not?" Caleb fussed.
"Because I am happy without you"
Venus walked off, looking upset.
"Hey Venus, I was going to ask you this later but would you like to head on a camping trip?everyone else is going. Everyone got told early, if so, the trip is Friday at 6:00 to Sunday at 6:00." Hope offered
"Of course! But where to"
"Strawberry meadows!"
"Okay!"
(10hrs later)
Hope walked to bed, grabbing a photo and kissing it.
"Good night, Lonnie. I will join you one day in the afterlife" she sobbed, going to sleep. Her eyes teared up as she set down the paper, calling her dog over
"Lemon!" She yelled as he jumped up onto her bed, he was her best friend since Lonnie passed away. Lemon reminded her of Lonnie, making her cry.
Good night Lemon, Lonnie. Hope cried, falling asleep.
