09 ; first win

[Stella's POV]

It was already almost a month since I debuted, and I haven't win any award yet. Either Music Bank, or Melon award, both of them, I haven't win anything yet.

I am sure this was because I just debuted and still have smaller fanbase. But I am happy to see that my followers were growing in all of the media social that I use, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok and Weverse.

Today, I made a special appearance on Music Bank, with my b-side, 'Crybaby'. I wear pink clothes today cause it was my theme.

I got into the stage to perform as the opening of the Music Bank. During performing, there's slight problem with my mic, but I handle it really well. I kinda feel nervous when the mic suddenly not functioning, but luckily it functioning again not long after that.

While going back to my room, I meet with the two MCs.

"Annyeonghaseyo." I bowed to the both of my sunbae.

"Annyeong. Are you okay, Stella-ssi?" Wonyoung-nim ask, probably because of the mic problem earlier.

"Ah, I'm okay." I show her my eye smile before entering my room.

I can see that Sunghoon were waving at me. I just smile at him, afraid of getting caught on camera.

Today I have encore, so I will stay here until 19.00. While waiting, I heard the knock on my door. I open the door, revealing Sunghoon and Jungwon.

"Why?" I asked confusedly.

"Can we ask you to do Tiktok challenge with us?" Said the younger one shyly.

I was doing nothing, doing a tiktok challange with my sunbae won't hurt.

"Of course. Where do you want to do it?" I walk out following the two.

They were bringing me to the iconic stairs in the Music Bank building. Before doing the Tiktok challange, both of them teach me the dance move first. I learned the moves pretty quickly.

"Whoa you really pick up fast." Sunghoon were amazed by my dancing skill.

"Really? But I am not good like both of you." I said humbly.

Both of them try to deny it, but I said that I am just a rookie. So they surrender.

"By the way, we also can do Tiktok challenge with you." Jungwon suggest.

"Really?" I look at them with puppy eyes.

"Aigoo, of course." Sunghoon said.

After recording 'Future Perfect (Pass the Mic)', we recorded my song which is 'Divine'. They both were so happy that I want to do the challenge with them.

I bid goodbye to them before leaving to my room.

When it is already time to go for encore, I go back to the stage with other idols. There's also Aespa sunbaenim on the stage. So I decided to go beside them.

"Annyeonghaseyo." I greet politely.

"Annyeong, Stella! Did you do your encore too?" Giselle sunbae ask, she is my bias for your information.

"Yes, the director said I need to to encore today." I show he my eye smile.

"I see, goodluck on your encore!" Winter-nim said.

I just bowed as thank you to her.

"Now, we will announce the result of today's winner." Sunghoon said.

"Yes, are you ready?" Wonyoung add.

"The two highest votes, please go to the front when I call your name." Sunghoon said the instruction.

"Aespa, please come to the front." The first one has been called.

I didn't expect to win anything honestly. But, if I win, then it will be my happy day.

"Stella Kim, please come to the front." I am so shocked with the result. Like, how come I have been the most voted one.

This feels like a dream. While waiting for the screen to count the one who will win the award, I recieve a bouquet of flower from Wonyoung-nim. It was a bouquet of random flowers, I love it!

"The winner of today Music Bank is....."

"Stella Kim!" Whoa, did I really deserve this.

My song 'Divine' is played on the background, and I start singing. This is the thing called encore. While I was enjoying the song, Sunghoon approached me to give the trophy and a bouquet of red roses, but my hand were already occupied.

"Ah, your hands already full. Let me just hold this for you." He said while standing beside me.

"Ah, it's okay. I can hold it." I said while trying to take the trophy from him, but he insist to hold it. So I just leave it be.

When I am done, he followed me to my room and give the flower to my staff.

"See you again, Stella." He pat my head before leaving, making me blush.

"See you again, hyung!" I said, replying to him.
