Tsukishima and Hinata had been dating all through highschool and nobody even knows, Not even their own bestfriends. That's how good they kept their relationship. They were so happy that they didn't even thought of breaking up. But one day Tsukishima suddenly broke up with Hinata, the shorter, confused of what's happening but he agreed.

He was gonna tell Tsukishima about him leaving for Rio but in the end he was not able to do so since it has nothing to do with him anymore. They are no longer together. After graduation Hinata left for Brazil only Tsukishima doesn't know. Every hang out he doesn't see Hinata so he decided to finally asked Yamaguchi

Tsukishima: why is shrimp always not present in this meet ups?

The three friends look at him then at each other and continued eating there desserts. Tsukishima was even puzzled why no one is answering him so he pushed the topic more

Tsukishima: answer me. Why are you guys ignoring my question?

Kageyama decided to answer him

Kageyama: how could he? Boke is to far to make it here

Tsukishima: what do you mean? Isn't he here in japan-

Kageyama: and where would that be??

Yamaguchi: tobio

Kageyama: he finally ask so we should just tell him

Now Tsukishima wonders what they know that he doesnt

Yachi: Tobio is right Tadashi, Kei needs to know

Tsukishima: what are you guys talking about?

Yamaguchi: Tsuki, Shoyo won't be able to come to our meet up's because his not here

Tsukishima: then where is he?

Yamaguchi: .... In Rio

Tsukishima: huh? Rio? As in-

Yamaguchi: yes Tsuki. Shoyo is in Brazil

Tsukishima doesn't know how to feel about This, how come they know and he doesn't. He was his lover. Then he realized, "was" he was Shoyo lover then, he remembered Shoyo wanted to tell him something before but he beat him to it and broke up with Shoyo

He broke up with him because he was afraid of what their future holds especially there kind of relationship but then he regretted it so much, especially for being a coward. That's why he always shows up to their meet up's hoping to see Shoyo

He stood up and left them there, those three left him be since they thought he was angry because he was left out but far from that. He went home and wallow in regret for being a Coward that he lost Shoyo completely

He took his phone and called Shoyo's number, he heard it ring for a couple of times then suddenly a sleepy voice answered the call

Hinata: hello. Who is this?

Tsukishima was so glad hearing his voice again

Tsukishima: ...sho

Hinata: ...

Tsukishima: w-why? Why didn't you tell me that you were leaving?

Hinata can hear him sobbing

Tsukishima: I- regretted it so badly. I hurt you...

Hinata: Tsukishima

It hurts hearing his beloved not saying his name.

Tsukishima: please Sho come back. I promised you I will not be afraid anymore. I realized I can't live without you so please. Come back to me. Come back to Japan
