Confederations like CAF for Africa, AFC for Asia, UEFA for Europe, CONCACAF for North America, OFC for Oceania, and CONMEBOL for South America exist for the remaining 23 nations. There will be competitions for U20 World Cup 2023 qualifiers in each zone. Africa, Asia, North America, and South America will each send four teams.
