"Thank y'all for coming with me" I said as me Niyah and Von got ready for church
"Fasho" Von nodded
"I keep telling you we behind you always" Niyah said
"I appreciate that. Imma start making this a habit im not tryna lose my faith" I sniffled
"How you feel?"
"He didn't deserve it but the lord works in mysterious ways. Plus I'm blessed with his baby. I know he looking over us" I rubbed my stomach
"Can I?" He asked and I nodded and he rubbed my stomach
"You gone have another baby? Like in the future?"
"It just depend. It's already finna be hard enough she gotta grow up without a daddy" I shrugged "will you be my baby godfather? Me and Julian talked about asking you"
"Was he cool with it?"
"He brought the idea up. I already asked Niyah to be her god mom. Nobody better to be ha god father than you"
"Thank you V for uh yk trusting me enough to ask. Yeah I will" he said making me smile lightly
"Thank you. Y'all ready?" I asked
"Yeah" Niyah walked out
Church service was realll good. But after that I had to meet up with Julian family and his lawyers
"Sooo" I joined the call with Niyah and Von
"How it go?" Niyah asked
"It was good yk it's always love with his family. Turns out he had a savings account set up for our baby so that got switched over to my name. Andddd he left me his house and his car..." I trailed off
"But it took so long because me and Jessica was going back and forth because I told her that I couldn't accept that cause that's like basically not leaving his family nothing and I wasn't nothing but a girlfriend"
"Baby momma actually" Von corrected "stop going that to yoself"
"Still. Turns out his mama and daddy convinced him to put me in his will because if something was to happen I needed to be took care of. Because his house and car paid off"
"You gone move in there?"
"Idk if im ready for all that but I most likely will because his nursery is already done versus me trying to work, come home and work on my nursery while making sure I take care of me and my baby"
"Right"
"Buttt if that's the case Niyah would you be interested in moving back in with me?"
"Duh" Niyah said
"Thank y'all I really appreciate y'all"
"His funeral is next Saturday. Colors are red and tan and his viewing is Wednesday and there will be a celebration of life after his funeral at Jessica and Dave house. Basically them getting drunk and playing games to distract them"
"Aight bet im there"
"Me too"
"I'm finna uh go home, finish unboxing some of my baby stuff, cook me something watch a movie and I'll prolly go through my camera roll until I fall asleep"
