Chapter Nineteen

"Nick wake up." I tapped his nose which caused him to scrunch it up.

"Nick." I whined and he groaned.

"What is it Rhi?"

"I can't sleep." I pouted.

He sat up in the bed and rubbed his sleep filled eyes. "What do you want me to do, give you warm milk and read you a bed time story?"

My eyes lit up at the idea.

"No." He shot me down.

Worth a shot.

"What should we do?" I poked his bicep.

"We can go back to sleep, it's late."

"I have a better idea." I leaned over and took a key from the bedside table drawer.

"What is that?" Nick eyed the bronze key suspiciously.

"Nick honey, this is a key." I answered as if I was talking to a small child.

"You don't say," He shot back. "What does it open and why do you have it?"

"This is the key for the door that leads to the roof my sweet Nick."

He raised an eyebrow. "Uh huh, now answer the other part of the question."

"The lovely lady at the front desk gave it to me."

"Why?"

"I have her along with some other members of staff some beer." He shrugged.

"And where did you get beer?"

Why do you ask a lot of questions?"

I pulled him out of his bed and unto his feet. "Doesn't matter, let's go."

I stole one of his hoodies (yes, I did smell it) and put on a pair of uggs and waited will Princess Nick had to find his shoes.

We exited the room and took the elevator to the lobby.

"Hey Tina." I greeted the lady at the front desk.

"Hey Rhi, putting that key to good use I'm guessing?" She smiled at Nick who smiled back before walking off.

"You know it." I followed after Nick but not before Tina mouthed something to me.

"He's hot."

"I know." I mouthed back before I ran to catch up with Nick.

Does he even know where he's going? I was right behind him so I have the perfect view of his nice ass.

I led him to a hallway where we took an elevator that was strictly for employees only. We came off at the top floor and I led him through another hallway. We turned a few corners until we came across a slightly chipped, navy blue door.

I turned the key in the lock before pushing the door open. Nick and I were greeted with chilly air and we simultaneously pulled our hoodies tighter against our bodies. I shut the door behind me and we walked over and sat down on the concrete letting our feet dangle over the edge.

Ottawa lit up beautifully, even in the early hours of the morning. The street lights cast an orange glow that was almost serene.

"I missed this." Nick sighed softly.

"Missed what?" I turned to him.

He gestured between the two of us. "Us."

"There was no 'us', you made sure of that."

He winced at my suddenly clipped tone. "I know and I'm sorry."

"You said that."

He took one of my curls and placed it behind my left ear.

"Will you at least let me make up for it?"

Stupid Nick with his stupid gestures and stupidly pretty eyes and dumb heart stopping smile.

I found myself nodding slowly but backed away when he started to lean in.

I ignored the look of hurt on his face "Don't kiss me if you're gonna end up regretting it again."

"I won't, not again."

Carry on then.

"Well bitch, don't keep me waiting. Kiss me."

"Kitten, wake up!" Paige banged on the door.

"Nick answer the door."

"Piss off. She's your friend."

I got out of bed and answered the door. Paige and Alicia walked in and took a seat on my unmade bed.

I sat on Nick's bed and he wrapped an arm around my waist as I rested my head on his bare shoulder.

"Awww." They both cooed and I blushed.

"Honey, why aren't we like that?" Foxy pouted at Paige and they made Nick and I laugh.

"That's because I already have a boyfriend and I don't like you. You are pretty though." Paige patted her friend's head.

"Not that I don't love you both but why are you here at nine in the morning?"

"Nick do we have permission to hijack your girl?"

He smiled. "Yeah, I've got a meet and greet today."

"Good. Foxy and I have a photoshoot today, we're gonna be on the cover of 'Muscle and Fitness' and we're also shooting for Total Divas today."

"Oh, that's awesome guys." Nick congratulated them.

"Thank you."

"Now, come on Rhi. Get moving."

The camera crew for Total Divas were already there when we got to the building where Photoshoot is supposed to be held. The girls rushed off to hair and makeup while I walked around and met everybody.

The photographer's name was Antonie Taj and he was a funny guy.

The girls came out and the crew started filming.

"Rhi how do we look?" Foxy asked.

"Hot and fuckable. I'd bang it." I told them honestly and flashed a thumbs up as everyone in the entire room laughed.

Nick has been texting me every chance he got and I find it really sweet that he's actually trying to make up for what he did.

I poked one of the camera men when the girls were changing.

"I wanna say something."

He nodded and turned the camera to me. "Guess who just got offered a job in the WWE?"

"I'm so excited and the European tour starts soon. I love the UK and who knows I might end up running into One Direction or 5 Seconds of Summer."

"Nobody cares about your obsession,with boybands Rhi." Foxy yelled playfully.

"5SOS is not a boyband, dammit. Go pose for your picture."

I went with someone to go get food for everyone and I took pictures of the girls myself.

"You guys look amazing."
