Kim Y/N was a former SM trainee that unfortunately didn't manage to debut. He was adored by almost everyone in the company with his manners, hard work and professionalism but somehow something was stopping him from debuting as an idol. He was supposed to be the so-called next big star.

The aespa girls were close with him due to sharing most of their trainee days with him. They spent most of their free time hanging out together, sharing meals together and even meeting each other's families occasionally. The news of Y/N not debuting made aespa heartbroken but Y/N being the selfless guy he is, told them to not worry about him as he will just go on with his life and wished the girls good luck on their career.

After aespa had debuted, they lost contact of each other as aespa had changed their contact number for the company's protocol. Y/N managed to land a job as a backup dancer for idols. They're a quite known group. Little did he know that he was about to cross paths with aespa once again.
