You whipped past a tree soon leaping over a fallen tree branch. Once you landed back onto the earth your toes dug deep into the soft ground to gain momentum. You ran as fast as you could dodging the flora desperate to reach the finish line, the end of the forest. The wolf in you stirs at the idea of being your friend.
Eventually, you saw the open field peaking from behind a cloud of branches. A winning smirk grew on your lips. Before you could even think about picking up speed you felt a gush of wind blow past you. Glancing to your side you made eye contact with familiar golden honey eyes. The shadows of the tree branches cast over his beautiful face. Giving you a grin he blew past you causing you to stagger a bit.
"YOU CHEAT", you shouted after him.
Alucard burst from within the forest crossing the finishing line. Hovering over the drop he turned around to face you.
"You said it was a race", he reminded lowering himself gently down onto the edge of the cliff. "You said nothing about flying".
"You bat", you growled still running towards him, his eyes widened slightly when he noticed you weren't slowing down.
"Wait y/n were on a cli-", he went to warn, but it was too late. Lunging at him, you encircled your arms around his waist knocking him back off the cliff. Alucard couldn't fly the both of you up in time. Releasing a laugh, the two of you tumbled roughly down the side of the cliff the dirt violently knocking the air out from both of your lungs. Alucard had his arm circled around your waist and the other gripping the back of your head to avoid you getting hurt even more. Once the two of you neared the bottom of the cliff you flipped both of your conjoined bodies over one more time to be able to pin him down against the earth.
Alucard stared up at you with wide eyes. You kept his wrist pinned high above his head. "I win", you growled playfully leaning in until your nose was touching before pulling away.
His face turned beat red. Reassign a giggle you climbed off him. "What's with that look on your face!", you teased. "What look", he frowned sitting up, and started to pick the dust and leaves out of his hair and off his clothes.
"You look like a tomato", you giggled. "It's hot outside that's why", he lied. "I smell a liar", you scoffed amused folding your arms. "You're probably smelling yourself".
"Watch it vamp, you're vulnerable", you warned jokingly causing him to roll his eyes and then start to pick the dirt and leaves that got stuck onto his clothes and long platinum blonde hair. "You're rough lately", he pointed out while sitting down on a nearby log. "When am I not", you said while doing some arm stretches before falling to the ground to do push-ups.
