As the plane soared above the clouds, Ricky fidgeted nervously in his seat. The excitement of their wedding was still fresh in his mind, but the secret he had been harboring weighed on him like a lead anchor. He stole a glance at Chris, who was gazing out the window, a contented smile on his face.

Ricky finally mustered the courage to speak, his voice shaking slightly. "Chris, there's something I need to tell you. Something I should've told you a long time ago."

Chris turned to him, furrowing his brow. "What is it, Ricky? You can tell me anything."

Taking a deep breath, Ricky confessed, "Before we met, I used to be addicted to drugs. It was a dark period of my life, but I've been clean for years now."

Chris's eyes widened, and he reached for Ricky's hand. "Ricky, why didn't you tell me this before?"

Tears welled up in Ricky's eyes as he replied, "I was afraid it would change the way you looked at me, that you'd never love me if you knew about my past."

Chris squeezed Ricky's hand reassuringly. "Ricky, I love you for who you are today, and I'll always support you. We're in this together, no matter what."

Ricky felt a rush of relief and gratitude. "Thank you, Chris. I should've trusted you sooner."

They shared a tender moment, their hands tightly interlocked as the plane continued its journey to Bali. With Ricky's secret finally out in the open, they could face whatever challenges lay ahead, secure in the strength of their love and commitment to each other.

As Ricky finished his confession, Chris's initial surprise gave way to a warm, understanding smile. He leaned in close to Ricky and whispered, "You know, love, we've already weathered so much together. This is just another chapter in our story, and I'm glad you've shared it with me."

Ricky's eyes brightened with tears of relief, and he planted a tender kiss on Chris's

lips. "I'm so lucky to have you, Chris."

Chris grinned. "The feeling is mutual, my love. Now, let's leave the past behind and enjoy every moment of our honeymoon in Bali, together."

With their hands still intertwined, they turned their attention to the beautiful journey ahead, knowing that their love was strong enough to conquer any challenges that might come their way.
