The Voice

A beautiful baby was born and was named Sandra, she is from the most prominent family in the Philippines, the De Vera. She is the daughter of Mr. Juancho De Vera and Mrs. Clarita De Vera. This family were known as one of the richest families, owning many properties like hotels, resorts, schools, hospitals, and many more. They called them a multi-billionaire family. As an only child, Sandra lives in a better life. She can have anything; she can travel around the world. A life that you can't explain how it is good and any would want to have. But there is one unique personality of this family, they are religious. As Sandra grew up, her mother would always bring her to the church and taught her to live righteously. Mrs. De Vera was a very religious and rich woman; she had many charities in the Philippines and she traveled in order for her to see the needy. Mrs. De Vera would always bring Sandra in their charity program. One day, Mrs. De Vera visited the contemplative sisters near in their hospital. While Mrs. De Vera was having some meditation and relaxation, she heard an angelic voice that said.

"Good morning, Mrs. De Vera," a very smooth of tone voice crossed from the grill.

"Good morning also sister," she then replied.

But Mrs. De Vera and the sister were not able to shake their hands and hug each other as the sister was enclosed by an iron grill and screen. When she walks to sister and wants to talk with her, she was then left her without anything else. So, she turned towards back the pew took her bag, and walked down the aisle in the silent atmosphere. When got home, she sees Sandra holding her phone without greeting her. On the other day, Sandra asks her mother if she will allow her to go to the contemplative sisters near their hospital. Then Mrs. De Vera tell her;

"Yeah, sure my darling, but if you will see or if one sister greets you good morning, don't hesitate to go with her and greet them good morning,".

After Mrs. De Vera told her daughter. Sandra went to their hospital to visit her father, then she went to the contemplative sisters. When Sandra entered the gate of the convent, she smelled very pleasing fragrance coming from the convent. Then she walked slightly fast to see what was inside the convent. But then, she saw a man who held a bouquet of flowers and she thought it was the cause of the fragrance. Sandra sat on the last corner of the pew and closed her eyes and prayed. While she was praying, she still smells the fragrance, she felt that the fragrance got more intense. And when she opened her eyes, she saw directly the innocent eyes of the man and ask her;

"Could you give this flower to the sisters? I have an emergency call,"

"Yeah sure," Sandra replied.

"Thank you, actually I am Chris," He uttered softly.

Sandra was shocked when she heard a very gentle voice coming from Chris. Then, Chris extended his hands towards Sandra. She accepted it and says;

"I am Ana, you're welcome and I'll make sure this will be given to the sister," said with assurance.

Sandra kept her real name as it is well known in their place so that no one would stay away from her. This would always happen when she was at her young age.

"Thank you so much Ms. Ana by the way here's the flower and when you see a random sister that will go out doing their praises, just give it to her," Chris said.

Then, Chris left her. While waiting, she was sitting on a pew she, really felt the peaceful environment. She can't explain the serenity she felt in her heart. She can't able to focus, as she thought of Chris. She felt love at first sight towards him. But moreover, what if she would live in this place? She would be more joyful despite being richer among the rich. Before, she was always with her parents visiting many convents around the Philippines. Sandra was waiting for at least, one sister to come out sitting near the tall iron grill. Then, almost an hour passed, one sister appeared. But Sandra was shocked when the sister greeted her;
