Preeta was sitting in the hall reading a novel waiting for karan
Luthra industries is going to take over a multi-dollar company which is keeping him busy day and night
"Where are you karan?"she self talked looking at the time it's past midnight
Just then the door opens as karan walks inside the mansion
One look at him she knows he is very tired
"Why are you up babydoll?"karan asked keeping his bag on the couch
"Waiting for you..."preeta said leaving for the kitchen to fetch him water
"I told you the phone right to sleep as I am going to be late..."karan said glaring at her as he followed her to the kitchen
"Mujhe need nahi AA Rahi thi..."preeta said looking away not wanting him to catch her lie
But her inner self betrayed her as a yawn escaped her lip
"Wo mujhe dikh Raha hai not lie to me babydoll..."karan said taking the water from her
"Ha thik hai na tumhe pata toh hai ki mujhe tumhare bina need nahi ati hai..."preeta said making a pout at the end
"Don't make that pout..."karan said pecking her pout making her smile
"Had dinner?"karan asked making her smile disappear knowing a long lecture is coming her way
"Abhi tum hare sath karungi na..."preeta said giving him a toothy grin while he glared at her
"Acha sorry ab lecture mat dena sath mein karte hai"preeta said taking out the heated dinner
"Babydoll I want you to take care of yourself.."karan said pulling her on his lap as she laid the dinner on the table
