Chapter 10

Shinobu Kocho's POV

Me and Tomioka have been driving for a while... More like for 15 minutes... And I just realised that we came back to the same destination I saw on our way...

"Tomioka San are we lost?" I looked at him but he had his full attention on the road

"I just don't know where to take you..." I laughed a bit. "Nothing can match up to you..."

"E-eh??" I looked at him with a reddish face and he chuckled

"Where do you want to go?" Where do I want to go?

"Like I said, I don't have any place in my mind" He nodded and drove.

"Since it's pretty awkward between us, there is a cover at the back, open it" The cover he had with him when we left the Art Cafe? The cover was right in front of me so I opened it, it was just the 4 mugs we painted and a box...

"What's in the Box Tomioka San?"

"Why not open it?" I took the box out of the cover and removed the tape on it... There were small holes in the box.

"Wait this the plant from the Art Cafe!"

"It's for you" Me..? He bought it for me?

"T-thank you T-tomioka San!" I was flattered when he said that... He noticed my face red and laughed softly at it, in 2 minutes or so we reached a place... An aquarium!

"Let's go" We got out of the car and I was the first one to get in, I loved visiting the aquarium. Me and Kanae would come to places like this a lot.

I was astonished by the paintings on the walls of the counter. I was too busy to argue with Tomioka San about who will pay.

"Don't run off" I heard Tomioka San laughing at my childish personality but it didn't matter to me at all! Most of the aquatic animals were recognisable.

3 hours later

We almost spend 3 hours there!! Well mostly me running around and him chasing me

"We should go back to Kanao and Tanjiro"

"They said that they don't mind, and he wanted to be alone with her"

"Time alone with her??? What if they f-"

"Let's not continue that word" He placed his hand on my mouth which prevented me from continuing. I mean, thank god he did, there were kids all around. "Shall we go somewhere else?"

I nodded as we got in the car. Once again we say in silence. Pretty awkward

"Where do you want to go?"

"It doesn't matter" I still had nothing in my mind. "Sorry for troubling you by the way"

"I don't remember you troubling me" is he for real? "and if it's about me chasing you down the whole aquarium, yes it's your fault. You were so beautiful that I couldn't take my eyes off you"

I don't know what to say. I felt my mouth open, was he flirting with ME???

"Hehe, look at yourself Kocho, you're  blushing hard"

"Oh you want it THAT way," I said smirking and he just smiled at that. I don't know if he was playing with me or whatever but I like This game and I am not planning to lose. "Fine, let's flirt, are you a camera?"

"Keeps smiling" Damnit! He knew it!! I rolled my eyes and was thinking of another pickup line

"You remind me of the 20 letters in the alphabet you know?" is he stupid? There are 26 letters

"You idiot, there are 26 letters, they don't remind me of you?" I laughed at his stupid mistake, a part of me told me that I should be scared...

"Ahh my bad.." I guess he is a bit stupid. "I forgot the 'u r a q to"

Oh. My. God..!

(For those who don't get it, 'u r a q t' is read as 'You are a cutie')

I controlled my embarrassment, I could give up... But wait... That's just 5 letters...

"Hey! That's just 5! What about the other one?" he smirked at me...

"Ahh shit.. I forgot to add 'd' in 'u'. Maybe I'll add it tonight"

"T-Tomioka San!!" He laughed at me. I didn't know that we were capable of flirting like THIS. I was out of words, I didn't know what to say..!

"Let's get lunch shall we?" Tomioka San stopped at one of the fanciest restaurants, and a part of me says that he was well prepared for this 'date'.

We got in and gave out our orders and within 10 minutes, lunch was on our table. I wonder if Kanao and Tanjiro had lunch...

A while later

We were done with our lunch and Tomioka San went to the counter to pay for it, I didn't want him paying for mine but I did not have a choice.

I went out of the restaurant and took out my phone to call Kanao to ask if they had lunch. As I was looking for Kanao's contact and
I felt uncomfortable as I could feel someone touching me inappropriately.

"Not bad curves"

"Excuse me?! How dare you touch me with those filthy hands of yours?!" I snapped back at the old guy.

"Did I give you permission to speak you sult?!"

"I don't need your shitty permission you old bastard and watch your mouth!" He snatched my arms and started dragging me, many people were staring at us but none helped me and that's when I remembered the time when a student was inappropriately touching Makomo and Tomioka and Sabito broke his bones... Will he come for me? Should I try calling him..?

"Hehe come here love~"

"TOMIOKA SAN!!!"
