Tiffany had just gotten back from her college tour, just wanting to drop onto the couch and go to bed.
But.
Of course.
She just had to leave her purse in the other apartment room.
Knocking, she waited for a good 20 seconds before the door opened.
"Hey, Tiffany!" It was Sour.
But why did he seem..
Stressed?
"Hey! I think I left my purse here..?" She pointed out.
"Oh- Uhm- is it this on-" Sour was cut off by..
An animal?
"MEOW!!"
"Uhm.. Is that a cat..?" Tiffany asked with her head flooding with confusion.
"Pfft- nooooo.." Sour shrugged it off.
"MEOWWWWWWW"
"That was Alias.." Sour tried to say.
"Isn't Alias with Zero?" Tiffany questioned, remembering that Alias and Zero went on a date or something.
"Oh.. Yeah.. that's uhm.. That's.. That's Soft watching animal documentaries.." Sour returned.
"Isn't Soft at a café with Crushing and Ace, and you just wanted to go home because you said you were tired?" Tiffany always remembers small details.
"So.. Uhm.. Anyway-" Sour was cut off by Tiffany seeing a cat behind them.
"That's a cat." She pointed at a black and white cat.
"Whatttt?? Nooooooo- Of course notttttt.." Sour moved their body, so they were covering the cat.
"Are you calling me schizophrenic?" Tiffany asked, laughing.
Sour laughed along.
Until the cat quite literally went in between their legs.
"The cat's back." Tiffany said.
"Huh- NO! NO, HE ISN'T!" Sour handed Tiffany her bag.
"Byeeee!!" Sour said, about to close the door in a panic.
"Wait!" Tiffany yelled, making Sour crack the door open.
"What's his name?"
"Wait- you're not gonna snitch on me?" Sour asked the other.
"What? No!" Tiffany said with a smile as Sour let her in.
"Awhhh.. What's his name?" Tiffany asked as Sour let the cat sit in their lap.
"Oh- Cosmo!" Sour grinned.
"When did you get him?" Tiffany asked, petting him a little.
"Today, actually. When I was walking here I saw him on the street. I took him to the vet and kinda made him hide in one of the bags until I got here." Sour shrugged.
"Oooo.. Smart.." Tiffany muttered.
"You won't snitch, right?"
"No."
