Estella spotted Sam looking around like a lost deer as she held her lunch tray. Estella rolled her eyes as people ignored Sam. 'Assholes.' Estella thought as she watched a group of girls point and whisper about Sam.
Estella walked through the dozens of kids, shoving those in her way. Some of them glared at her, and others stayed quiet. She stood next to Sam, the girl yet to notice her. Estella's eyes found Moon, who looked unhappy as she pushed food around her tray.
Moon looked up, making eye contact with Estella. She looked away when Estella shot her a look of disappointment.
Sam turned and noticed Estella next to her. "Look, I'm not apologizing for Moon and Yasmine. They have tiny do that themselves. However, if you need somewhere to sit, there's always an open seat next to me at the nerd table." Sam shot the Hispanic girl a grateful smile.
"Yeah, I would love to. I just, um... wanna have a word with Aisha."
Estella nodded, turning on her heel. She spotted Miguel and walked towards him.
"Where's your tray? I noticed that you never eat at school," Miguel frowned at the empty-handed girl. He was worried about her.
"I don't eat the cafeteria food, I pack my own lunch," Estella answered.
"Wouldn't it be easier to eat here? Then you wouldn't have to pack lunch," Miguel questioned in confusion.
Estella sent him a smile, "I don't know what's in the food. I'm a pescetarian, so it makes it easier for me to pack the food."
Miguel nodded in understanding, and then the two heard the sound of a tray falling. Sam had tossed Kyler's tray onto the floor and was glaring at him.
"Hey, guys. You know that billboard with that big ass dick on it? I guess Sam takes after her dad," Kyler smirked as people gasped, and 'oohed'.
Miguel and Estella make eye contact. "Tag team a bitch?" Estella questioned.
"Tag team," Miguel answered. Estella sent him a look, and Miguel sighed in exasperation.
"Tag team a bitch," Miguel finally mumbled.
Estella sent the boy a toothy grin. Miguel watched in amusement as Estella practically bounced over to Kyler. She hadn't fought in a while and was excited.
