Is there any reason I need to know?

The miles between us stretch so wide,
yet love's flame burns deep inside.
It's not just the space that's causing this pain.
But the chance that our love might not sustain.
So, let's not dwell on the reasons or whys.
Instead, let's look forward and reach for the skies.
In the chapters of life, we'll write our own story.
With love as our guide, we'll find our own glory.
So, though we part, for now, my dear
Know that my love is always near.
In whispered thoughts, in dreams that glow,
In the warmth of our hearts, even when we must go.
So, let's embrace the journey that lies ahead.
With hope in our hearts and nothing to dread,
For love is a force that will forever bestow,
Its blessings on us, even as we let each other go.
