A copper cauldron
Simmering a hearty stew.
Warmth fills the kitchen.

Almost a year after our "father" left the house, never to be heard from again, the long, cold snowstorm ended in Gary Indiana. The gentle spring warmth had more than enchanted everyone; the weeks that followed had brought forth a truly unexpected and...annoying surprise. To everyone's demise an eclipse of luna slik moth swarmed by Indiana by the billions.

Indiscriminate in taste, the polilla's fluttered over to an unfortunate persons clothes who was stupid enough to leave their clothes still hanging on their clothesline as they happily chop neglected on the fabric or those things were chewing through newly cleaned laundry or on the bottom of a well heeled shoe, or just anything a person would value.
The tiny lime colored pests were on everyone's hit list.
