'You need to come with us, right now,' Li said, I'm pretty sure he was trying to threaten me. Not like it worked, though. 'What's in it for me?' I'm gonna have to go anyways to avoid future trouble, but I should at least get some more out of this. 'He said you'll be like this-,' he sighed. Who was he talking about.
'Here's 50 bucks.' He chucked the wad of cash at me, I caught it with one hand. 'Nice reflexes.'
How annoying
The girl behind him smacked the back of his head, 'she could have gotten hurt,' she mumbled. They must be close. 'Fine, where are we going?' I asked. This better not take long. 'Jayson was looking for you,' he replied dryly, avoiding my question. What are they, his dogs or something, wasting their time doing something like this. 'Just follow us,' He continued, 'Fine,' I replied.
This better not be about what I think it is.
While getting dragged up to the rooftop, I noticed a few people glancing at me with a hint of pity and concern, tsk. I heard Li on a call with a few others, probably Eros and Jayson. 'She's coming with me right now, Eros make your way up, too.' He was basically whispering into the phone, while the girl just kept on staring at me, starry-eyed.
Did she recognize me? Did she tell them, or is this just their sappy excuse of "bullying?"
