Chapter 1: Muns back 🤭

It was a long six months for mun I mean he did have fun but he missed his hometown and of course the counters. it was finally time for him to return, he greeted the other counters one last time before he went to board his plane.

(Btw in this story mun has the same hair as the start of s2 he doesn't change it like in the end of s2)

Mun sat down in his seat and thought about how different it would be coming back after such a long time. It was weird for him to admit to himself but he was nervous more than excited. What if everything's different, what if they're different he thought to himself but then shook that thought out of his head as he remembered the messages hana would send him. They always reassured him, as she always filled him in on what was happening most of the time. He took his phone out of his pocket and read the messages over again they comforted him in many ways as it meant a lot to him that hana sent them as she isn't the most affectionate but her going out of her way to send them to him made him feel some type of way.

But he just brushed it off as a mutaul feeling cause they like best friends right?? He shook the feeling and thought out of his head and continued reading the messages. He was surprised at how jeok bong managed to stay exactly the same even thought it's been half a year it made him chuckle that he still had a crush on hana and hana still hated it.

Motak and ms chu had been working hard especially motak since he was getting forced to do more since mun wasn't there. And lastly hana she said she was doing good and finally getting the closure she needed he didn't know what she meant by that but he was happy she was happy.

After a few hours mun finally landed in Seoul korea and to his surprise no one was there. I mean he at least thought that they would be there to pick him up after they abandoned him when they were meant to drop him off when he was leaving. (Poor mun)

Mun just sighed and continued walking to get his luggage that's when he saw mr Choi standing there laughing.

"so mun your back finally!!" mr Choi said with a big grin on on his face

"Mr Choi!!" mun shouted as he ran to hug him

"Come mun, I know you've just came back but there's work for you to do!" Mr choi looked at him switching up his tone to a serious one

"Already" mun said with a 'I just came back cant I relax for 2 minutes' tone

"The counters need your help now come on get your luggage and go suprise THEM" he said laughing

"They didn't know you were coming today, I told them that you decided to come a day late so they don't even know you're here" mr Choi laughed again while picking the last piece of luggage

"So mun did you go to shop or to teach the counters, how much luggage did you Bring back" mr Choi said out of breath from picking up the last piece of luggage

"Sorry I just wanted to buy everybody something I just kinda lost count on the stuff I got" mun said laughing

During the car ride mr choi filled mun in on what the mission was and what he needed to do

Eventhough mun was tired from the plane ride over he was ready to fight and finally put his powers back to use after months of just training others. It got the adrenaline pumping through his veins and he completely forgot about being tired.

Once they arrived mun hopped out of the car and asked which direction they were in, mr Choi told him which way to go and he didn't wast a minute.

Mr Choi didn't get out but instead drove back to the base as he had some things to do there.

Mun ran as fast as he could, that's when he heard the other counters talking amongst themselves about something, he was snapped out of his ease dropping when he heard jeok bong say that he's improved a lot, and tried to summon the territory.

Mun laughed to himself knowing how funny it would be if he summoned it and made jeok bong think it was him. And that's what he did

Making his big entrance mun summoned the territory making the others look at jeok bong in shock at how he was able to do it. Jeok bong started to shout telling everyone that he did it and they should've never doubted him.

That's when hana looked at ms chu and started to laugh,

"There's no way he summoned the territory" hana said looking at ms chu

"That's only means-" ms chu gets cut off when she sees mun emerge from the darkness

All the counters turn around one by one and see mun stand there with a big grin on his face

"Did you guys miss me" he says walking towards them

All the counters were in shock, that's when jeok bong ran to mun and gave him a big hug

"Welcome back the real mr ace" he said laughing

One by one the counters gave mun a hug greeting him, the last person to greet him was hana she just Stood there in what looked like shock but mun didn't know if she was suprised or unhappy to see him. His thought process was cut off when she ran towards him and gave him the biggest hug, the stood there for a second while the others watched in also in shock by the big gesture given from hana

"Of course weve missed you mun, how couldn't we" hana said now leaning back out of the hug smiling at him

Mun was suprised at where the sudden affection came from, maybe she felt guilty for not hugging him before he left like the others. Regardless it made a huge smile appear on his face knowing that his second family missed him as much as he missed them.

The wholesome moment was cut short when one of the gang members shouted

"Who are these guys"

He looked like the leader, as he told one of the other men to come fight them, the counters got straight to work beating them was easy but after summoning the evil sprits mun felt the jet lag get to him.

"great job guys, In honour of mun coming back early, I'm going to make all his favourite dishes when we get back" ms chu announced

"About that Ms chu, I think I'll get some rest first before I can have all the delicious food you make" mun replyed making motak laugh

"Ah mun you haven't changed one bit" he said making the others laugh along with him
