Aidan's mansion had never failed to fascinate Hal. It contains all sorts of amenities and entertainment. From the imposing exterior to the modern interior, complete with rooms that fit a crowned prince. Hal's favorite area was the third floor which was the master bedroom yet it also served as Aidan's private haven since it already had everything that he needed without going down to the ground floor.

They were eating their favorite flavored coffee ice cream out of the tub while watching Jurassic Park.

A few hours later, Aidan couldn't help commenting, "Why are we watching a bunch of dinosaurs eating people?"

Hal laughed as the frustration was written all over the man's face. "Is it working?"

"What's working?"

"How's the sex drive?"

Aidan turned to him, a mixture of perplexity and amusement. "Think you got me all summed up?"

Instead of answering, Hal grinned and rested his legs on his lap. Aidan didn't seem to mind this and even sat properly so the other could relax.

"So where do you stand on the whole immigration issue?"

Aidan winced at his attempt to change the subject. "Who gives a fuck. Now let me ask you something and don't be naughty, how did you know Gwenith Bach?"

Halwyn froze but he managed to make it look like his whole concentration was on the ice cream. "At work, hooked her up to some gigs."

"Hmm...she said the same thing."

"Why do you ask?"

"I don't know. She seems to know a lot of things about you," Aidan recalled the first time he went out with Gwen. "I think she pissed me off that one time..."

Hal was bewildered, "Why would she pissed you off?"

Aidan shrugged once more. "She was making me feel like she knew more about you than me," he looked deep into his eyes as he added, "No one knows you more than I."

Hal leaned his head on the other end of the couch, each one sizing the other. He realized that he had loved the man for far too long and that instinct drove him to seek him out. Glancing at Aidan at this moment, he also realized the urge might be stronger than the need to always be near him or be touched by him. Even the stolen kisses didn't make him mad, they only served to fuel his desire and start anew.

Aidan was never the kind of person to force anyone and he would never trick Hal, even if he wanted to try and show him how obsessed he was with him. He turned away the moment Hal started feeling discomfited and instead rubbed his feet as they continued to talk.

"Let's play a game," Hal suddenly said.

"What kind of game?"

"Kiss, Marry, and Kill game, and the category would be the members of the X-Holic band."

Aidan beamed at him, "Alright, shoot."

"Hmm...I would kill Floyd."

"What? Why?"

"I don't know. He has an annoying face."

Aidan had thrown his head back and laughed out loud. "What about Owen?"

"I'd marry Owen, I think he is marriage material."

That made Aidan scowl and Hal sniggered. "That's not true! It should be me. Wait, where does that leave Dylan?" When he thought of the last category that hadn't been mentioned, his eyes widened. "You want to kiss Dylan?"

Laughing at the reaction on his face, Hal didn't even notice that Aidan had already pulled him closer and he was now almost sitting on his lap. He only stopped when their faces were inches of each other...
