*Third Person POV*

The last two days have been nothing but busy, primarily for Sam and Colby.

On Sunday, they had their last minute suit fittings before the Streamy awards. Maya wasn't able to go since at the time of them RSVPing their seats, the thought of Maya moving to the west coast with them wasn't in the books. So it was just Sam, Colby, and Kat going. But Maya didn't mind. She joyfully watched them on the live YouTube stream back at the Airbnb with Dexter and celebrated with the trio when they returned.

On Monday, the boys had a Make-A-Wish with a young girl named Reece. Once again, Maya wasn't apart of that deal. But to be fair, neither was Kat. So the girls stayed behind, selecting the boudoir pictures they were putting in their own personal books for the boys. They weren't sure how they were going to give it to them. They were thinking of just doing it randomly and maybe posting their reactions to Kat's TikTok for fun. When the boys returned, they boasted about their new friend who was asking about the girls. Reece was lowkey hoping to meet Colby's girlfriend so she can say she was one of the firsts. For majority of the night though, the boys were hard at work with editing. Maya thought it was for the Conjuring series. Little did she know, it was for Colby's personal channel video.

Now it was Tuesday, the first day where the boys got a break. Sam and Kat were out at the gym but Colby was fast asleep, catching on some sleep that he hasn't gotten lately despite Maya's nagging. Maya let him sleep and was out running with Dexter attached to a leash that wraps around her waist. After 2 and a half miles of switching between running, jogging, and walking, Maya called it. Although she kept up with her fitness after her years of volleyball and dance were over, the California heat and elevation hit different.

Currently, she was leaning up against the kitchen counter, carefully taking sips of cold water so it doesn't bring a shock to her system if she chugged it instead. She was still listening to her top playlist that she used for workouts when a song came on that she only listened to a few times before. 'Bad Idea Right?' by Olivia Rodrigo.

Halfway through it is when Maya really started listening to the lyrics and decided to play it back again so she can pay attention to it from the beginning. As she was listening to it, images started popping in her head. And right then and there, she found her song for her music video project.

Maya sat up on the counter, typing away on her phone to see if there was already a music video created. There was. But as Maya watched it, she was relieved to know that her picture of the music video she wanted to direct for it wasn't the same way that the artist did it. She would have to check with her professor, especially when she would have to put together her outline and sketch out each scene for the midterm project. But she thinks it'll work.

As she continued to sit and listen to her playlist as she scrolled through her socials and sip on her water, she came across some new followers and DM's, primarily from the boys friends. She happily followed them all back and returned some of their DM's. While distracted, Colby made his way downstairs.

"Good morning Sunshine." He mumbled through his yawn. But Maya didn't hear him through her noise cancelling headphones. He didn't notice them right away. "Maya?" He said standing behind her on the opposite side of the counter. That's when he noticed the headphones. He hopped up on the counter and swung his legs around so he could be sitting next to her. She jumped at the sudden presence of someone next to her.

She settled and laughed when she saw it was Colby. She slid her headphones off. "Don't do that!" She smacks his arm making him laugh with her.

"Good morning beautiful." He says leaning in for a kiss.
