Chapter 40

The sound of death on a cold winter day.....

Chion ran with my body through the forest. I could feel the leaves slapping against my face and what felt like drizzeling rain through the canopy of the forest trees.

I could almost hear Chion's heart as it beat so loudly. It wasnt calm, he was afraid....of what? Loosing me or the werewolf pack that may have followed him.

We reached close to the house, near the tree i fell from, Chion laid me down and maybe it was my heart stopping or the emptiness in my eyes but as I touched the damp forest floor I heard the sound of his voice bellowing into the forest across the mountain side.
I'm sure the werewolves heard that. I'm sure Kazuo heard it.

At the wolf den Kazuo did hear it and he believed that i was dead. Second later there was a roar so deafening, the omega pack would be forced into submission, which I knew it would mean the the werewolves were ready to hunt.
But this was no ordinary hunt, there were like vampires out for blood and Kazuo craved Chion's.

Back at the tree everyone was outside, Chion held to my body rocking back and forth. His father was adamant he let me go. I was bleeding and that placed there family in danger. He tried to wrip me from Chion's arms.

"NOOO!!!! LEAVE HIM ALONE!!" Chion sceamed and his father knew wat he wanted to do.
"No Chion, you cannot do that!!!"
Chion always said that the hardest park about changing a human isnt the biting its the letting, he said it took great strength unimaginable.

Chion didnt pay his father anx head, his hand carressed my face and then he exposed my neck injecting his venom in me.
He said vapire venon is dangerous to humans because its simply a poison that liquifies the sides separating the blood. but for those who survive it can heal us and change us. But some dead cannot return to life cant day?

"Chion let him go you cant save him."

After a while Chion came to terms with my death and as he stood to his feet he swore a blood revenge on the werewolves that killed me.

The vampires and were wolves were going to war
