Visenya Targaryen was a girl gulping a woman's grief.
As long as she was angry, there was still hope .. As long as there were tears, spiteful words, and concern— there was care. It was a confusing fact that only those living within the Red Keep understood.
It was whenever the fair maiden became silent did her efforts became nonexistent.. and so did Rhaenyra Targaryen's place in her life.
Was this how all elder siblings treated their kin?
As much as she hated to admit it, Visenya had not once forgotten the love she and her half-sister shared.. The two held a bond like no other- something that was nothing close to the relationships she had with their other siblings.
Aegon was for the throne, Haelena was for Aegon, and Aemond was what remained of her mother's youth.. But Rhaenyra? She was all for her.
That was, until, the day she left. The fight that occurred between her and The Queen's children had opened more than enough wounds. The permanent scar on her forearm served as a warning and showed that neither she nor her sons were safe there.
Visenya had never begged for anyone before, let alone to stay.. But for the first time ever, she said please that day. "Whatever it is, we can work this out!" She cried.
She had never, ever prayed for something so badly. But she remembered begging the universe if it could hear her somehow— asking the gods, if there were any at all, to just grant her this one wish.
It was when she was on the verge of losing the only thing that made their home feel like a home did she realize she had never wanted anything more.
"I can't.." Rhaenyra whispered, her voice soft enough to soothe the monstrous of dragons while harsh enough to cause tiny cracks into Visenya's even tinier heart.. And that was the end of it all.
2 words, 5 letters, and Visenya hadn't been hurt by anything more.

KATELYN'S SPEAKING ─ Wooo first chapter..ish!! ❛ Happy Holidayss! Definitely remake the signoff gif.. Sorry for the inactivity! Contemplated how I should write the first "chapter" given the fact that Visenya doesn't exist until halfway through season one.. Still, I thought it'd be nice to give her at least some type of happy relationship. <3 ❜
