Kurama hides in the corner of the living room as furniture is moved around to prepare for a birthday party since he is bored of staying in his wielder's bedroom. (Y/N) and Nino have been preparing the living room since noon.
(Y/N) pushes the sofa towards a wall. Nino finished moving the living room table to the corner of the room.
" It took us thirty minutes, but we are finally done," (Y/N) Said. Nino drinks water to rehydrate. (Y/N) grabs juice from the fridge.
" All that's left is the decorations and food. I will start the food in two hours since the party starts at 8 pm. We told everyone to be here 30 minutes early so we could surprise Adrienne."
" The cake?" Nino asked.
" Marinette and Alya will be bringing it over in a few hours. Marinette's parents were kind enough to bake it for the party," (Y/N) answered.
" Nice. Now for the decorations." Nino puts the three bags of decorations on the living room table. (Y/N) starts taking them out to see the theme. Kurama holds in his laughter when he sees the theme.
(Y/N) stays quiet before looking at Nino. " Are we really?"
" Dude, It was all I could think of since we chose only a week to plan this. Don't worry, she will like it."
" Well, let's get to it since we still have to set up the table for the food and the chairs," (Y/N) said. The two friends finish taking out all the decorations and start preparing to hang them.
(With Marinette and Alya)
Marinette and Alya are going over the guest list one last time.
The Guest List is as follows:
Alix, Ivan, Juleka, Mylene, Max, Nathaniel, Rose, Kim, Sabrina, and Chloe.
" I understand why Kim was invited. Max is his friend. However, Chloe!" Marinette yelled.
" Marinette, like it or not, Chloe is Adrienne's friend. This is a party for Adrienne," Alya explains.
"You're right. I'm surprised she accepted the invitation." Marinette wondered why Chloe accepted.
" Chloe accepted when I mentioned (Y/N) was one of the three people in charge. In her own words, not mine, ' Since (Y/N) is in charge, the party will be exceptional':" Alya said.
" Of course," Marinette whispered. A knock is heard on the hatch to Marinette's room.
" Marinette, the Cake will be done in an hour," Sabine said.
" Thanks for letting me know Mom," Marinette said. Alya does have a question on her mind.
" Marinette, why did Kim seem shocked when we gave him the invitation?" Alya recalled Kim looking disappointed when Max got his invitation. His expression changed to shock when he was presented with an invitation.
" I don't really want to talk about it Alya," Marinette answered. Alya noticed Marinette looking upset. Alya immediately knew Kim had done something.
" Did he do something?" Alya asked curiously.
" Look, Alya. You are my friend, but I'm not ready to tell you about that part of my life. However, I will tell you never to get on (Y/N)'s bad side. Kim found out the hard way, as did Chloe," Marinette answered.
