You are all staring in strong disbelief, Ruby says she wants to fight that colossal mech. If these were better circumstances where you could use your power as the Chronicle, things would be different but now...you can't focus on that as that thing that looks like it was taken straight out of one of those 2D animated films you watch is slowly trudging its way through the ocean. You feel Sophie quickly hide right behind you. Your eyes glance over to see that the Atlesian airship Weiss and Cordovin are piloting are flying towards you all as well.

Weiss: "You're joking, right? You want to fight this thing?!"

Ruby: We've fought giant monsters before. This is just a tiny old lady... with one very big robot."  Ruby glances over at you, you can tell she's worried but she gives you a determined nod. You have to be steadfast for her and do what you can.

Cordovin (Speaker): "You little spider-roaches thought you could creep your way to Atlas?! Well, let's see how your resolve holds out against the might of the Atlesian Military!"

Cordovin within the mech raises its arm cannon to the sky, your eyes widen in shock as it whirrs and shifts as a large missile silo pops out of its arm. A missile blasts out of the arm and flares over towards the airship. You feel your eye beginning to trail with the slight flickers of flames, getting ready to intervene before you hear a shot fired from your side. You watch the bullet fly and collide with the missile as it violently explodes before it could make contact with the airship as you breathe out a sigh of relief for a moment, you glance over to see where the originated to see Ruby holding her Crescent Rose in its rifle mode. Ruby glares at the large mech while lowering her weapon. You hear the cocking of weapons to your side as you see the rest of the group is getting ready to fight. Even Sophie has her dagger out as your eyes slightly glance around frantically, you can't Conjure your Ultrix with the threat of Solar. You simply go into a slight defensive fighting stance.

Cordovin (Speaker): she growls ferally through the speaker  "SO BE IT!!" Cordovin's mech raises its arm, it rotates and begins to charge up something powerful. She points the cannon directly at you, even from here your hairs are standing on end as an icy white light is building in the core of her cannon.

You: "Crapbaskets! Get down!" You say while instinctively stepping in front of both Ruby and Sophie in a vain attempt to protect them. Not like you stepping in front of them will really do much in this situation. The enormous beam fires directly at you as you glare angrily. Your eye bursts with Sapphire-Amethyst flames without your control. A mess of particles begin to surround you all, seemingly beginning to form a wall in front of you, the rest of the group glancing over at you with their eyes widened as you hear the ship swerve behind you, Weiss runs and raises her Myrtenaster, a rock wall flares up from the ground, your particles shifting and forming in front of it to act as a reinforcement. You feel the harsh blast of Ice blare over towards you as it collides against the particle reinforced wall. Towering jagged pillars of ice flare upwards from the wall as particles are strewn about messily, mist surrounds the area as you all stare up at the wall in shock.
