You talking to Hermione about your crush on Mattheo that don't want to go away.
"Hermione, I don't understand why it won't go away." You said, making her giggle.
"Is it that bad for you to like someone? Even if it is a Riddle?" She asked you.
"Yes!"
You kept rambling about it, not noticing Hermione's facial expression changing drastically. You started to list things that made you think or fall for Mattheo. His eyes, hair, the way he smiled, the small voice cracks he get while he tries to hold back a laugh and so much more. In the process of this affection speech of yours, Hermione tried to stop you. Oblivious you were to your surroundings, Mattheo had walked up behind you, hearing your whole speech. A smile grew on his face as you kept speaking. Hermione started to laugh a little when she made eye contact with him. That stopped you in your track of words. You followed her gaze and turned to see him. Mattheo smiled down at you.
"So my hair? Eyes? Laugh?" His smile grew sweeter. "The way I get angry after losing a quidditch match?"
Your cheeks had gotten more colour then usual as you tried to turn back around to walk away. Hermione stopped you and kept you facing Mattheo.
"You started it y/n. Finish it now." She laughed.
"Yeah." Mattheo agreed. "Listen to her, keep going with the list because it didn't sound like you were done."
Yet at that moment you were done speaking about it.
