Backstory: Lily Parker grew up in New York City, where her father, Peter Parker, had retired from being Spider-Man to focus on his career as a scientist and family life with Mary Jane. However, it was only a matter of time before Lily discovered her own extraordinary abilities. At age 14, while on a school field trip to Oscorp, she was bitten by a genetically enhanced spider, much like her father had been years ago. This event triggered her latent powers, and she soon developed spider-like abilities of her own.
