I looked at Eren as he transformed and he soon when into a rage fit. A rock had cut my arm but I knew it would heal. I quickly grab Mikasa and put her to the side but she went to Eren.
I watch as Eren knocks himself out and I laugh a little even though this was serious. If I could transform and help it would help everyone out a lot except for me since I would have a punishment
Luné was on my back in a bag I put on for her to sit in. She meowed and I looked over my shoulder to her and took her in my arms and started patting her.
"You bought a cat to a fight?" Mikasa asked and I nodded
"Isn't she the cutest?" I asked and Luné purred
"Be happy it wasn't a baby" I said with a smile before putting Luné on my back again
"Just clear the area so no titan comes to Eren okay?"
"Got ya" I said winking before going to fight some titans
I swing off only to just go in a house and sit down. I take Luné in my hands again and she meowed making me smile at her softly. Even though I knew this was only the start I was already tired...
I sighed before putting a hand on my head. If it came down to it...would I have to kill so many people I had formed a bond with? I don't think so...
I stand up and put Luné on my back before swinging outside again only to kill a titan. I keep swinging until I saw Eren's titan which was lifting a bolder making me smile sadly
Oh Eren...I wish it didn't have to be you with a titan...why couldn't it have been someone else? I look around and was met with Marco making eye contact with me before he was eaten.
I was shocked. I stayed still for a moment. What...I look around and see my dear worriers friends. I walk over to them.
"What...happened?" I asked, Annie lifted something up and I looked down and was shocked. I look at Marco's body and see I was right. It was his.
"Why...?" I asked holding it as Reiner went to kill the titan
"Reiner said to..." Bertholdt said and I nodded
"Of course...it's always him" I pass Marco's gear to Annie again before looking at the wall and seeing it was blocked
"When do we go after Eren?" I asked and Annie thought for a moment. Bertholdt hugged me
"Just wait a moment okay? Annie's next to make a move then it's your turn" I nodded before putting my hand on my head
"Annie better capture Eren then...I wanna go home" I said crouching on the roof sighing
"I will" Annie said and I smiled
"Good for us...maybe not Eren" I said before laughing sadly
"That sounded depressing..." Annie said, I nodded as I watch the titan fall
"Well, it's a depressing life, dying in 6 more years...yay" I said standing up again and swinging to the wall with all three of them
"Don't talk like that" Bertholdt said
"But you know it's true...you guys will die before me..." I said before landing on the wall
"Y/n!!" I look up and see Sasha
"Sasha...!" I hug her as she jumps on me
"Thank goodness you are alive" She said crying and I smiled
"I'm on clean up duty..." She said disgusted and I nodded
"I think most people are on clean up, even me-"
"Cadet Y/n L/n?" I turn
"Yes?"
"Come with me please" The soldier said
"Well, bye guys, see you all soon" I said before following the soldier. He took me to the military court but we walked passed the main room
"Why am I coming here again?" I asked still walking behind him. He opened a door and there were stairs leading down to somewhere
"Go down there and you will be met with two people from the survey corps" I nodded and walked down. My gear made a sound as I walked. I turned a corner and opened the door and saw two men
"Hello there, you must be Y/n L/n" I nodded
"My name is Erwin Smith, commander of the survey corps" He said and I saluted
"At ease, next to me it-"
"Captain Levi brat" I gasp, how dare he call me a brat. I just met him. I side eyed him before rolling my eyes
Asshole
"Forgive him Y/n, I would just like you to be here for Eren when he wakes up so we can question him" Erwin said and I nodded
"Understood" I said with a small smile before looking at Levi and just look back at Erwin. What big talk from someone so small

When Eren had woken up I was seated on a chair next to Erwin and Luné was on my lap. I look up and smile at Eren
"How are you feeling?" I asked, Eren looked at me shocked
"Y/n?"
"Correct"
As Erwin and Levi asked some question I just sat there and nodded when Eren looked at me. I lower my head getting sleepy only to hear my name
"Yes?" I asked looking around
"So?" I got confused
"So what?" I asked Erwin
"What is your answer?"
"For?" Erwin laughed a bit before repeating his question
"Will you join the survey corps if we win Eren's case?" I though for a second
"Let me talk to some people first before I make a chose sorry Commander" I said with a soft smile
"That is alright" I look at Eren and he seemed almost helpless
"Well you are now free to go Y/n" I nodded before standing. Luné jumped off my lap and hissed at Levi before walking beside me
When I climbed the stairs I was greeted with sunlight making me squint my eyes. I adjust to the light first before walking down the hall. It was silent which was nice
I stop at the window and look outside. A few birds flew passed and I smiled. What I would give to be free...to live my life without having to worry about dying soon
I sigh sadly with a smile before continuing to walk down the hall only to remember Marco. He's dead, so is many others just because of my stupid mission...
"Cadet Y/n L/n?" I turn and saw a lady with brown hair and glasses
"Yes?"
"Cute cat you got" She said holding Luné, I nod
"Thank you...she must like you since she isn't biting or hissing at you" I said opening my arms making Luné jump into them
"I'm honoured"
"Hange Zoë, Section Commander of the Survey Corps~" She said extending her hand
"Nice to meet you Section Commander" I said shaking her hand
"Are you alright dear?" She asked looking at my face concerned
"Yes, just tired"
