Everyone quickly walks inside and looks around confused.
"Hello??" Rick asks
A gun cocks making everyone turn and aim their weapons.
"Anybody infected?!" A guy shouts
"One in our group was...he didn't make it.." Rick says
"Why are you here, what do you want?" He asks
"A chance" Rick says
"That's asking an awful lot these days" The guy says
"I know.." Rick responds
It goes quiet for a little while but then the guy takes a small step forward.
"You all submit to a blood test, that's the price of admission" he says
"We can do that" Rick nods
"You got stuff to get, do it now. Once that door closes it stays closed" he says and lowers his gun
Everyone quickly rushes back outside and back to the vehicles.
T-dog and Dale stay guarding the doors.
We all run back inside with bags and everything else we have.
"Vi, seal the main entrance. Kill the power up here" the guy says into a keypad by the door
He walks us to an elevator so we all get in, it's pretty cramped.
"Doctors always go around packing heat like that?" Daryl breaks the silence
"There were plenty left lying around. I familiarized myself. But you all look harmless enough" Jenner says
"Except you. I'll have to keep my eye on you" he says to Carl
Carl looks up at him and smiles so he chuckles.
We all exit the elevator and head down a hallway.
"Are we underground?" Carol asks
"You claustrophobic?" Jenner asks her
"A little" she responds
"Try not to think about it" he says
He brings us into a big room full of computers and big screens.
"Where is everybody? The doctors, the staff?" Rick asks
"I'm it...its just me" Jenner says
"What about the person you were speaking with? Vi?" Lori asks
"Vi! Say hello to our guests. Tell them...welcome" Jenner says
"Hello, guests. Welcome" A female robotic voice says
"I'm all that's left, I'm sorry.." Jenner says
He takes us to a room and starts to take a sample of blood from each of us.
When it's my turn I close my eyes and Daryl gently squeezes my hand.
I whimper as the needle goes in then take a deep breath in.
"Okay, your good" Jenner puts a bandaid on me.
I slowly stand up and hold onto daryl. I feel a little dizzy.
"See? S'nothing" Daryl smirks
"Shut up" I chuckle and sit down
After the last person, Andrea, gets her blood taken Jacqui helps her stand up as she clearly feels dizzy.
"You ok?" Jenner asks
"She hasn't eaten in days, none of us have" Jacqui answers for Andrea
A while later Jenner comes to get us. We follow him into the kitchen and see plates of food and bottles of wine on the table.
