As the day turned to night, the atmosphere inside the house began to change. Reign's mood had shifted significantly after Antonio's departure and a few brief text exchanges between him and King. The weight that had been pressing on his shoulders seemed to lift, and he was more than ready to go home now.

Kai and Amber took it upon themselves to look after Rei, knowing that he needed their support. They hovered over him, staying inside the room with him, making sure he ate, showered, and did what was necessary to feel better. Their care and attention were like a lifeline, pulling him back from the edge of the darkness that had threatened to consume him.

Rei, initially resistant to their efforts, eventually began to relent. Their presence and care were a comforting reminder that he wasn't alone in this chaotic aftermath. The events of that night had left scars, but with the support of his family, he began to believe that he could eventually heal and move forward.

As they gathered in the kitchen, the scent of the freshly lit blunt filled the air, creating an atmosphere of togetherness and excitement. The vibe was gradually taking hold of them, and they were all eager for the festivities to begin.

Their shots, lined up in a neat formation on the counter, resembled an army ready to lead them into the adventure that awaited. The clinking of glasses and the anticipation of the night ahead fueled their excitement. However, it was clear that Reign had a different agenda. He seemed determined to defy sobriety, downing shots with a practiced ease, as if each one was a way to drown his worries with every gulp.

The sweet smoke of the blunt swirled around them, intertwining with the scent of alcohol, creating a heady mixture that further heightened their senses. As they prepared to head to the party, the group couldn't help but notice the unease in Reign's eyes, hidden behind a facade of reckless drinking and ingenuine laughter. The night had just begun, and already, it held an air of unpredictability that made them all a little on edge.

Amber couldn't help but tease him, "Rei, chill boo. We don't need a repeat of last night, do we?"

Kai joined in with a mischievous grin, "Yea, let's hope you rememba' everything this time."

That playful jab had left Reign triggered and his grip on the Hennessy bottle tightened in response. Rei's face momentarily scrunching up with irritation before he shrugged it off and poured another round of shots.

Raising his shot glass with a mischievous glint in his eye, Reign proposed, "To not givin' a fuck"

Amber and Kai both laughed, clinking their shot glasses together in agreement. Despite the lingering questions about the previous night, they were determined to embrace the party spirit and not let anything—or anyone—dampen their vibe.

With their hearts pumping with anticipation, Kai was ready for the night's adventures, fully committed to keeping an eye on Reign, ensuring he didn't veer down that dark path again.

The Uber ride was quick, and they soon arrived at the venue where Eli's infamous party was set to unfold. The invite said that it would be on the rooftop of a fancy hotel, and given the expected crowd, showing up on time was a must. However, Reign's anxious demeanor during the elevator ride up was hard to miss. His nervousness practically radiated off him, and Amber and Kai exchanged worried glances. Something was definitely bothering him.

As they stepped onto the rooftop, the party was already in full swing, with music pumping and the energy electric. The venue was nearly bursting at the seams, packed with people congregating around the bars, pool area, and dance floor, all soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of the night.
