Be honest now, we all know what sirens are, unless you live under a rock.
They're gorgeous mermaid-like creatures that find pleasure in killing and torturing people. I've created my own fun twist to it, but it still sticks mainly to the lore of a siren.
Sirens actually started as hybrids, a cross between a bird and a human (body=bird head=human) and most of them being female, but some are bearded and called Daemons, that is until the 14th century when fish-tails became involved. Sirens are now more commonly known as gorgeous 'mermaids' with a hypnotising voice and a knack for chewing on sailors.
My lore doesn't fall too far from the mermaid one.. but in my opinion it's much cooler.
