Luca Salvatore Lombardi's pov:

I woke up from a nightmare, it was 5:00 a.m. I shivered as I untangled my body from my sheets, the cold air hitting me. I went to the bathroom and washed my face before I went to Adriano's room. Normally I would have gone to Sebastian's room but he went to work early.

I knocked on his door to see him in plaid pants and shirtless. "Adriano," I whispered, sniffling. He shuffled in bed before turning to me "Luca? What's wrong fratellino?" he whispered "Nightmare" I mumbled, fidgeting with the sleeve of my long-sleeved shirt. He opened his arms, I went on his bed and hugged him, laying on top of him as I nuzzled my head right under his collarbone. He rubbed my back and kissed the crown of my head before we both drifted off into a deep sleep, enjoying each other's comfort.

8:00 am,

I woke up to see that Adriano was gone, I went downstairs and into the dining room to greet my sister, Natasha, and my brother, Adriano. "Good morning fratellino" Adriano spoke, "Good morning topolino" Natasha said as I sat down beside her, "good morning" I spoke while putting some food onto my plate. "Luca, do you want to come to work with me? Since no one's gonna be home." Natasha suggested, I nodded "Sure" I spoke before taking another bite of my waffles. "Get dressed and come down at 8:30 alright?" she said, I looked up and nodded.

I took my last bite before getting up and going upstairs to get ready to go to Natasha's workplace. I put on my clothes and washed my face, brushed my teeth, did everything I had to do before I grabbed my phone off of the charger and went downstairs where I met Natasha. We both went to the garage and Natasha unlocked her car before she got into the driver's seat and I went to the passenger's seat.

When we arrived, Natasha led me to a room that looked to be a cafeteria, she led me over to a table where I spotted an adorable little boy with forest green doe eyes and golden brown hair. "Hi Liam! How are you doing today?" Natasha spoke to the adorable little boy who I'm assuming is named Liam. "G-good" Liam stuttered "this is Luca, my younger brother" she said referring to me, he lifted his small hand and waved, I grinned and waved back. "you ready for our session Liam?" Natasha asked him with a smile as he nodded and grabbed her hand as she led us both to where I'm thinking is her office.

She sat down on the chair behind her office and me and Liam sat on the two chairs in front of her desk. Liam and Natasha started conversing while I sat there listening. "Liam would you mind staying here with Luca? I have to go into a meeting" she asked, Liam hesitantly nodded before Natasha left us in an awkward silence.

"So, how old are you Liam?" I asked turning to face him, he turned to face me "f-four" he spoke in a hushed voice, "h-how old are you?" He asked "I'm 16" I said "do you want to go watch a movie?" I asked as a look on confusion covered Liam's face "what's a movie?" He asked leading me to be shocked, what type of kid doesn't know what movies are? Movies play a big part in childhoods.

"Come on I'll show you" I spoke as he held my hand and I led him to Natasha's couch, I lifted him up and put him on the couch before getting the remote for the tv. I went on Disney plus and put the lion king, it was a classic movie and a good one.

I covered our bodies with a blanket as Liam started warming up to me, I knew he had a bad childhood since I overheard my siblings talk about him. Before we could get half way through, me and Liam both fell asleep, content in each other's arms.

After 46 minutes,

I woke up by Liam tapping my cheek. I woke up and sat on the couch, "can we color?" Liam asked hesitantly, "sure we can, let's go get the crayons and paper out" I spoke as Liam grinned and followed me to the small table Natasha had in her office. We sat down and colored in a comforting silence, occasionally asking each other questions to get to know each other better.

After 1 hour,

I woke up by Liam tapping my cheek. We sat on the catch in a comforting silence before Natasha came in. "Luca we're going to mom and dads house, say bye to Liam" she spoke while gathering her stuff.

"N-No don't leave" Liam whimpered, clutching on my shirt. My heart broke as I pulled him in a hug. "Im sorry Liam but we have to go" I spoke rubbing his back in an attempt to sooth him "n-no p-please b-bubba" he whimpered, my heart warmed at the nickname, "it's okay bub, I'll come visit" I said "promise?" He spoke looking up at me with his cheeks that had tear stains as he held his pinky finger up. "I promise" I said, linking my pinky finger with his.

"Bye Liam" I spoke waving as he left the office and waved back at me. After Natasha gathered her stuff, she went down to the reception and signed herself out before we went to the parking lot.

We went to go to our parents house and meet up with Sebastian and Adriano there as well. Me and Natasha got into her car, she started driving to our parents house which was 17 minutes away. And you may be wondering why I don't live with them, it's because I made the choice on my own because I don't think I could manage staying away from my siblings as much as I do love my parents. I was so excited to visit them I miss my dad and mom and our German Shepard dog, Cooper.

When they arrived,

I couldn't contain my excitement any longer as I lunged out of the car and opened the front door, Cooper pounced on me, licking my face "cooper!" I squealed as I hugged him, grinning. I saw my father walk towards us, I moved from Cooper and ran into my fathers arms, "papa!" I grinned as He chuckled, I wrapped my arms around his torso, he engulfed me into a warm bear hug after kissing my cheek, although my dad was a former mafia don, he was a big softie. After a few minutes I saw my mom so I let go of dad "momma!" I shouted happily as I ran and hugged my mom as she kissed my forehead.

Natasha finally walked in house, Sebastian and Adriano following after her. All three of them greeted our parents before we all made our way to the dining room, me ranting to my mom, Natasha and Adriano conversing with each other and Sebastian and dad were talking about the mafia and work as usual. We had my mommas famous chicken Alfredo pasta for dinner, it tasted so good.

After dinner we watched a movie on the couch. I cuddled with my dad while Cooper laid right below my feet, Natasha cuddled with mom and Adriano and Sebastian cuddled with each other. I eventually fell asleep in my fathers arms, the sounds from the movie on the background.
