Chapter 14

[Cody's POV]

Izzy shakes her hands excitedly, causing Noah to look a bit worried-?

I: DO YOU LIKE CODY??

Noah's eyes widen, and his face turns red-? He seems to be really embarrassed by the question...? Does he not like me...? I start looking a bit sad, and I think Gwen realizes, since she hits me with her elbow, and says.

G *Whispering*: She means romantically! Aren't you interested?? Perhaps he likes you too!

I face quickly turn to surprise, and then too excitement! I'm actually REALLY interested! Maybe he could love me too! I know that sounds weird, like I was really unsure, and didn't know before, and now I'm saying "he could love me too". But when Noah was holding me, stroking my hair, and rubbing my back, as I was laying on top of him, and probably sobbing like a little child, I realized that I did love him! Like Gwen said! It's more of a feeling, a wanting! And the feeling when he smiles, laughs, holds my hand, says nice things about me or to me, comforts me, how he understands me, listens to me, he's just overall amazing in every single way! I just feel so comfortable and happy, being around him! I want him to hold me, and talk to me forever! I wanna stay with him! I wanna love him! And most importantly, I want him to love me too! I can't imagine if he didn't... What would I do??

[Noah's POV]

F*ck- What do I do now?? I mean I do like Cody... BUT WE'VE LITERALLY KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR 2 DAY?! LIKE IT'S CRAZY!! It feels like we've known each other for our entire life... Why do I feel like this?? He can't possibly like me back!! Who knows, if he even gets, what it means?! F*ck. F*ck. F*ck! I can tell everyone's waiting excitedly, for an answer- No. I gotta talk with them, PRIVATELY, first!

N: Can I talk with you all, without Cody, for a sec?

I ask with an annoyed expression, on my face, and a stern tone.

G: You can't answer the truth without Cody here!

Gwen says annoyed, rolling her eyes.

N: I'm not gonna answer it, I just gotta talk with you guys first.

I say sternly, rolling my eyes back at her.

G: Fine.

She replies, gasping out in annoyance. I get up, help Cody up, and push him out the living room door.

N: I'm not angry or upset with you, I just gotta talk with them for a bit! Just stand, or sit here, and wait!

Cody nods at me, looking a bit surprised, but seeming to get it, and be okay with it. I close the door, going back, to sit down, and talk with the others.

N: So? What do you gotta say for yourselves?

I say with a very clear annoyed expression, and a very clear annoyance in my voice.

I: You two would just be so cute together!!

E: Mhm.

O: Definitely!

G: Yup.

I roll my eyes, letting out a big sigh. And leaning back, holding myself up, with my hands, on the floor.

N: We've basically known each other, for like 2 days...

G: Yeah. But you act as you've known each other for your entire lives!

I: YOU'RE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER!

G: You're like soulmates!

I: EXACTLY! YOU ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER! YOU MEET AND FALL IN LOVE IN EVERY UNIVERSE! THAT'S WHY IT FEELS LIKE YOU KNOW EACH OTHER! SOULMATES!

N: That's not how the world works-

O: C'mon! Are you seriously gonna give up the love of your life, because you've "only known each other for 2 days".

N: You don't know that-

G: Please- We can all see it! You love each other! It's perfect!

Izzy nods her head, with a very serious expression.

N: Even IF I did like him... What if he didn't like me... You know, like THAT..!

Everyone looks at each other, and I look down at my hands, while starting to fidgeting with them.

G: YOU DO LIKE HIM!

I let out a big sigh again.

N: Of course! Ugh-!

Everyone, but Eva, start squealing like crazy.

I: YOU HAVE TO TELL HIM!!

N: No-! I can't... What if he hates me...!

E: He wouldn't.

O: Yeah! You'll be fine, buddy! He looks up to you A LOT! He's always so interested in you, hearing about you, learning about you, and just talking about you! When we were whispering in class, he was even asking more about you!

I look at Owen, in total shock. He was asking... About me?? That's what they were whispering about??

N: That doesn't mean, that he would like me romantically though-

G: C'mon!

O: I promise we'll be here for you, if he rejects you!

E: Though I highly doubt he will.

Everyone nods in agreement. They really are president... It's too early though- And if he doesn't like me, what would he do?? I mean, it would be weird to sleep at my house, in my room, non the less in my bed- And he doesn't know how to get back! And finding a new place- Someone snaps me out of my thoughts, by snapping their fingers, in front of my face.

G: Okay look dude, you gotta just tell him, if he doesn't like you, you just gotta deal with that. But hiding it from him, won't help either of you!

O: I'm sure he wouldn't hate you over it either!

E: Definitely wouldn't.

I: I totally agree!

E: Also a little advice. Just be straight forward, don't give him anything to be unsure about!

I nod at Eva, and get up.

I: HE'S GONNA DO IT!

I go to the door, and I'm about to grab and turn the handle, when I think of something-

N: Wait-

I hurry over to the others again.

G: What now?

N: Isn't it like, super NOT romantic, to confess, like this in front of others, especially playing truth or dare-??

E: Yup.

G: Yeah- Maybe we should have thought of that-

E: You should pull him away, and talk with him privately.

O: Yeah! Good idea Eva!

Owen smiles.

I: NOW GO DO IT!

Izzy pushes me.

N: Fine fine-! Let me get up-
