Chapter 22: Insanity

"I'm sorry, Links... I can't save you three."

That sentence woke Link to a start, a scream escaping his mouth then immediately wincing in pain. He saw that alomst his entire body is covered with bandages, and heck they were bloody.

"You really shouldn't move around too much, your body is basically unstable."

A soothe gentle voice said and he turned to his left to see a girl with light blue hair tied to a side ponytail, clad in white and blue and a book held in her hands. Link raised an eyebrow in confusion, "Good thing I found you and your friends-- I have healed your wounds, but some of them would be a scar." She answered and Link nodded, muttering a small 'thank you'. She nodded, "I'm Lana." She introduced and in an instant, his eyes widened. "The White Sorceress?" He asked and she nodded with a small smile. "Your friends are lucky they survived, especially that green haired girl. She's bruised terribly and from the looks of it, she used magic too much." She replied again and Link gulped. Then.. why did you say sorry?

"Come to think of it, I really thought you and the other boys wouldn't make it out alive," she said and Link's eyes snapped to her and he narrowed his said eyes. Lana placed a finger on her chin and she looked up as she tried to recall the memory,

"Ah, yes. When I was inspecting you and the other two boys' wounds, I made a conclusion where you three will actually not make it out alive. When a (c) haired girl just appeared out of nowhere. She said that I can still heal you and the others but it would be risky, too. It could take up a lot of energy, I saw tears in her eyes as if she wanted you three to live on. I understood what her eyes meant and I agreed on her suggestion, for her to pass a lot of energy and magic to me in order to save you three. I then thanked her well before healing you, I was about to thank her again when I noticed she was gone. In a swift second, she was gone. It creeps me out, if she's a ghost or not." She explained with details and Link blinked, you? Appeared out of nowhere? Then... why did you say you can't save them?

"L-Lana. Can you make a revival potion or something?" He asked and she raised an eyebrow, "For what?"

She asked and Link bit his lip, "That (c) girl is a spirit and she's actually the princess of time. Me and the other two are the destined Heroes to save her, the potion we need was the one to revive her. She's Name." He answered and Lana's eyes widened. Link furrowed his brows in confusion as a shadow cast upon her eyes and she muttered something that is barely even a whisper. "What was that?" He asked and she shook her head rapidly, "N-No! Nothing at all!" She said as she fiddled with her fingers. "Anyway, that potion you need. Well, you all need to get the respective ingredients for it. Which would be hard since... practically that you and those two have two days left before that moon falls." She said and he looked up and truth, the moon that was said to be in Termina was actually teleported to other's timeline.

Link didn't respond, he was so deep in deep thought.

'Ah yes, a (c) haired girl appeared out of nowhere. From the looks of it, she was pleading for me to save you three. I explained to her briefly that you and the others will not survive, tears were flowing down on her eyes and it seems like she was actually hoping for you and the two to live. I felt pity and told her I can still heal you three but it takes a lot of magic, she smiled warmly before wiping her tears away and she held my hands. A glint of (c) flashing through her (c) eyes, then she injected her powers unto mine. I was shocked.'

Lana said and Link kept listening, curious.

"Her power.. it's so heavy in me. I felt it however I can't express it through words, like no words can be suitable for it. The power she held.. is extraordinary, I felt like I could do anything when she passed even a tiny bit of her power unto mine. It was so.. extreme, powerful and magnificent. A (c) glow illuminating from her figure and as if I saw the Golden Goddesses behind her. She released an extraordinary aura I can't describe, like... she was a Goddess, herself."
