Nikki Porter: HPF

Nikki has quiet the family history that has been hidden from her all her life. She is the granddaughter of Tom Riddle (aka Lord Voldemort) and Vinda Rosier. The cousin of Evan Rosier, one of Voldemort's first supporters. Vinda was not the maternal sort though, so interested her daughter Estella in the care of her sister Druella Black *nee Rosier. Who already had 3 daughters, Bellatrix, Andromeda and newborn Narcissa. But Nikki's mum was a lot like her cousin Andromeda. Though both were placed in Slytherin like their family. They fell for people who their family would never approve of. Andromeda falling for a muggle-born and Nikki's mum fell for a muggle. Who she meet in France during the summer before her final year. After she graduated she disappeared from the magical world and only stayed in contacts with Andromeda, not wanting to be found by her parents or rest of her family.

She and the muggle got married after dating for four years. Then nine months later Nikki Vivian Porter was born in September 1978. Nikki never knew who her grandparents were, hell who her magical family was. Aside from her mother and Aunt. She had a peaceful life in France with her mother and father. She went to Beauxbatons for the first four years of her schooling. Her mother thought they were safe. Until one night over the summer they got word of Nikki's father's death.

Estella was heart broken and Nikki couldn't step into their house without bursting into tears. So the pair of them moved to the UK so that they could be closer to Nikki's aunt and her family. Nikki was then enrolled at Hogwarts, where she was to finish her schooling. She was sorted into Ravenclaw and it looked like she'd have a normal first year, aside from the Triwizard Tournament. Until her name appeared from the Goblet of Fire along with Harry Potter's.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves. This story begins with Nikki arriving at Hogwarts and being sorted into her house. And meeting her two dorm mates Cho Chang and Marietta Edgecombe.

Nikki's POV

"Are you ready?" mum asks as I came downstairs of Aunt Andromeda's house. We had moved in a couple months ago after my dad's death. And have yet to find a house yet. But Aunt Andromeda says she loves having us around. My cousin loves seeing us when she visits, which is often. Uncle Ted jokes about being out-numbered by a bunch of powerful beautiful witches. Both he and my aunt are good at healing charms, which they learned for two reasons. One was because of how clumsy my cousin Tonks is and because she became an auror.

"Yes mum" I say.

"Hey, it'll be ok" she assures me.

"I don't want to be the schools know it all again" I whine. "And I won't know anyone" I add.

"You'll be great, just be you" she tells me. "Besides you'll have Dusk" she reminds me. I smile at my raven. He had been a gift from my parents on my tenth birthday.

"You sure you don't want us to come?" Uncle Ted asks.

"We don't mind" Aunt Andromeda adds.

"We'll be ok" mum assures them. "Besides you two have a lunch date" she reminds them. I hug them both and leave with mum. We use Uncle Ted's car to drive to Kings Cross Station.

"How do we get onto the platform?" I ask mum.

"We walk through platforms nine and ten, run is you're nervous" she tells me. I nod my head. We arrive and I got a trolley. We loaded my trunk and Dusk's cage onto it. I followed her to platforms nine and ten. "Want me to go first?" she asks.

"No, I got it" I assure her and go first. She soon joins me and leads me over to the train. She looks at it in deep thought. "You ok mum?" I ask.

"Yeah, just brings back memories" she states.
