《𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮》

The weekend went fast, maybe even too fast, but not as fast as Monday went by because it was already Tuesday, and they didn't have volleyball practise today so hinata had the bare minimum time to panic about having to walk with tsukishima to his house and sit with him for a whole hour

"Kageyama, I can't do it. I'm nervous." hinata wined for the 5th time in their lesson, which just happened to be the last one of the day

"You're not normally nervous being around tsukishima, so why now?"kageyama questioned

"...because he might shout at me for being dumb and i can't shout back at him because he's helping me, so its just like you know."

"You are scared of getting shouted at by tsukishima?"

"No,maybe,kind of,yes."

"Just don't be an idiot then, and like every day, we will leave school, meet yamaguchi and tsukishima at the gate, then walk together for a bit then me and Yamaguchi will go one way and you and tsukishima will go the other"

Hinata thought about it for a second them spoke up again. "What do I talk to him about while we walk?" Hinata questioned

"Volleyball, what else would you talk about?"

"Hinata smiled at the mention of volleyball, and in that way quiet a few of his nerves trickled away

"Hinata,kageyama, stop talking, or I'll have to keep you behind 5 minutes after the lesson once again," their teacher complained

The last ten minutes passed in no time
And before hinata knew it, he was approaching tsukishima and Yamaguchi with kageyama

Hinata slightly noticed kageyamas, somewhat normal smile aimed towards Yamaguchi, who was waving in their direction,

"Interesting," he thought to himself

The first 10 minutes of the walk went as it usually does tsukishima listening to music hinata, making sure he doesn't trip over his own two feet and casual pitching in on whatever conversation yamaguchi and kageyama were having
Tho today he was less involved in the conversation and more focused on his surroundings tho he still picked up yamaguchi, saying

"Thank you for Sunday tobio. I really enjoyed it, "

His eyebrow was slightly furrowed since kageyama never mentioned hanging out with yamaguchi, but there was no time to think about it because before he noticed he was now with tsukishima and tsukishima only who was telling him to pick up the pace

"It's cold. I can't walk fast when it's cold," hinata complained

"Well, it is winter, so I think I'd be a bit concerned if it wasn't cold,and what does the cold have to do with the pace you walk at?"

"Well, I guess if I'm focused on the cold, then I can't focus on getting my legs to move faster,"

"So basically what you're saying is you're too much of a nut case to focus on two things at a time?"

"...yes I guess so, but you didn't have to word it like that meanishima," hinata complained

Tsukishima slowed down a bit so hinata could catch up a little before continuing

"Akiteru is home, so the heating is most likely on, and we're not that far, so I'm sure you'll live. Maybe consider actually dressing like it's winter it helps you know"

"I don't like winter clothes."

By now, all of shoyos nerves were gone, and tho tsukishima was a bit mean it was only usual, and the conversation wasn't as scary as hinata imagined it to be

"You don't like winter clothes ? So you must like catching a cold then, huh?"

"I hate colds too because then I can't play volleyball and my throat goes all funny so my voice is croaky and I can't eat meat buns cuz my throat is tight I really really hate colds"

"But do you hate catching colds, more than you hate wearing winter clothes ?"Tsukishima questioned

"Yes, a lot more,"

"Then you should wear winter clothes regardless," tsukishima said as he took his house key out of his pocket to open the front door

Once in the house, hinata took notice of every little detail, such as the various baby pictures of tsukishima and Akiteru around the front door but before he could analyse every photo he slipped of his shoes and ran after tsukishima who was trailing of to the kitchen

"Hey," tsukishima said blankly to his brother, who was in the kitchen, most likely finding his 6th snack of the day. "

"Kei,hinata,hey, how was school?"Akiteru asked the pair of them

"Fine." Was tsukishimas response

"Great!! One of my teachers was off sick, so the whole lesson we got to do whatever we wanted with some random movie playing in the background and there was my favourite food at lunch today!!"

This struck up a conversation between akiteru and hinata as they've spoken before, like at The game against shiritorizawa and stuff so tsukishima went upstairs remembering all the stuff in his room that did not need to be viewed by anyone else besides him and his mom at most

Desperately stuffing an army of dinosaur teddy's and random geographical artefacts under his bed wasn't as easy as he thought it would be

Luckily, just as tsukishima finished and was searching on his book shelf for a revision booklet that when he heard hinata venturing up the stairs and into his room

"I like your brother Akiteru is very funny, but you're like completely different people."

"You know, just because we came from the same place and most of the time live in the same house, we aren't going to be the exact same, right?"

"Yes, but you know what I mean,"

"Maybe I do, who knows,besides sit down," tsukishima demanded

Hinata was respectfully obedient and sat down like he was told, and they studied like they agreed on

Tho tsukishima questioned hinatas intelligence as he knew a good chunk of the questions given to him but always seemed to get them mixed up in the wrong box or sometimes even on the next page

"Hinata,how are you this stup-" tsukishima, but he stopped himself as the look in hinatas eyes told him that he was actually trying to do it right

He rethough and reworded the question, so it came across a lot softer than originally intended. "How did you get them in the wrong box ?"

"I don't know," shoyo frowned. "The words and the letters just get mixed up, and the answer boxes are so far away from the actual questions, and black and white just mix up in my head and I find it hard to read"

"It's okay, hinata."
"We can work on it on Thursday,you should head home before it gets too dark."

Hinata took tsukishimas' advice and said goodbye to Akiteru, then tsukishima before heading home

They studied for exactly one hour on the dot no longer than they agreed on
