She has survived an earthquake that claimed the life of the only person that left her feeling human. She survived heartbreak after heartbreak. She survived a stabbing that left her and the woman she swore to protect bleeding out and left for dead. She survived being paralyzed and survives every day with chronic pain as a result of the surgery to correct her broken spine.
