Gene tried to stand up, only to fall straight back down due to the lack of half of one of his legs
"It's funny to watch you keep trying to stand."
"Shut up"
Gene growled at Zane as he rearranged himself to be sitting against that wall
His other leg was still held by a chain, not like it did much
Even without that chain, he would never be able to get far
Gene glared at Zane, who was just reading a book about Shad
For months it was like this, Gene would keep trying to stand just to fall back down and have Zane laugh at him
eventually, Gene gave up
