Maeve made her way towards the sound of the TV that was currently on in her living room, meaning Eli hadn't left yet. Not that she minded, in fact, she was happy about it, which is a shock to herself.
"I'm glad you stayed." She spoke up from behind him, catching his attention as he turned around to face her.
She immediately regretted the words that came out her mouth. "I'm sorry, that was weird. What I meant to say was-"
"I know what you meant." He cut her off with a small smile on his face. Elijah noticed her looking around the room, "she's at Bobby's." He told her, referring to Juno.
Maeve nodded in response and sat down next to him on the sofa. "You have any plans?" Eli questioned, glancing over at her.
"Uh, no." She replied. "I was kinda hoping to stay in today. Try to forget about last night."
"Well, that's a shame." He then said, confusing her slightly. "What do you mean?" Maeve asked, not sure what he meant.
"I may or may not have planned something to try and make you feel better." Eli explained. "But if you want to stay in, then that's fine." He reassured her.
Maeve let out a nervous laugh as she turned to face him. "Wait, hold on a sec." She stopped him. "You, Eli, have made plans for us to spend time together?" Her eyes widened in shock as she placed her hand over his forehead.
"Are you feeling okay?" Maeve sarcastically asked him whilst jokingly checking his temperature as he rolled his eyes.
"Whatever, forget it." He shook his head, changing his mind as he got up from the sofa.
Maeve suddenly felt bad for teasing him about it. "No, Eli, I'm sorry, okay?" She tried to get his attention. "I'm not used to stuff like this. What did you have planned?"
"Well, that ruins the idea of a surprise, doesn't it?" He stated with a proud smile on his face.
After many attempts to find out what Eli had planned, Maeve finally decided to get changed into reasonable clothes, ready for whatever was going on.
The two got into Eli's car and made their way to the location which he only knew of. "Can you just tell me where we are going?" Maeve asked him, getting frustrated.
"The answer is still the same from 5 minutes ago. No." He shook his head in response.
"C'mon please." Her gaze softened as she stared at him impatiently. "Don't give me that look." Eli told her, knowing he wouldn't be able to resist telling her.
This only made her want to do it more so she did. Maeve watched as he let out an annoyed sigh, completely ignoring her as he continued to drive.

When the car abruptly came to a stop, Maeve grew confused. She knew where she was as soon as she saw the building in front of them.
"What are we doing at the cinema and why is it so dead here?" She questioned, noticing the emptiness in the car park.
"Just wait." Eli told her as they made their way inside the cinema.
It was still completely empty apart from the staff members and this only made Maeve even more confused than she already was.
She stopped in her tracks and turned to face Elijah. "What's going on?" She asked for what felt like the millionth time.
"I may or may not have rented this entire place out for a few hours." He shrugged his shoulders innocently.
Maeve's eyes widened slightly. "Wait, what?" She grew shocked.
"I know you're still upset about last night and this is probably the last place you'd want to be but I thought it would be nice for you to come here and watch Twilight on the big screen with nobody else but me." Eli explained to her.
"You're joking." A smile soon appeared on her face.
"I'm being pretty serious right now." He nodded, reassuring her he was being honest.
Maeve didn't even have time to think as she pulled him in for a hug. This has got to be the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her and she'd be forever grateful.
Twilight was her favourite movie of all time and she couldn't believe he'd actually remembered.
"If you're not team Edward then we're gonna have some problems." Maeve patted him on the shoulder before walking towards the till.
