I walked into the room and the smell of old people rushed in..... that was not a good smell for a 18 year old.

His birthday past a few weeks ago he's still got presents to open.

"How is he?" I ask molly

"Frail but better the doctors think another month but I think it's next week" molly smiled

"How do you know" I ask politely

"Mothers intuition. And he's been twitching its only a matter of time."

Poor molly is seeing things. He's not been moving. I know he hadn't

"Howe fred?"

"Cast off. Bed rest on. He's been overworking it and now in a wheelchair for a week starting tomorrow when discharged"

"That silly boy. Doing more harm to him than making that jump for you"

"He didn't do it for me. He did it for ron"

"Darling he did it for you."

"How do you know?" I ask quietly

"Mothers intuition"
