History/Quick backstory: Kendall is the daughter of Carter and Moira Gallagher and the oldest child of three. The Gallagher's are a high middle class family. Her father runs his own company and her mother is a reporter. Kendall went into college to study Radio Broadcasting. This was definitely a different path, but her parents supported her regardless. Her younger brother is still in college and her younger sister is still in middle school. Kendall got her job working with a local radio station when she was in college. It started out as an internship and then it became her full time job. She moved out of her home once she graduated, finding a pet friendly apartment. She adopted Onyx and Trixie quite quickly. The two animals are now chill friends.
