second chance

Dunk sat on the bathroom floor and cried as he remembered his childhood in a boycott he went through with all the beatings he got and how much he was laughed at
He didn't share what he was going through with anyone, he didn't want anyone to know
"I'm sorry I just wanted to be your friend and get your attention" Joong's words echoed in Dunk's head "I won't do it again I won't hurt you"
Dunk wanted to believe him
he thought he could get Joong another chance to prove himself to show that he would change and that he really wouldn't hurt him
After a few minutes he washed his face, relaxed and went downstairs to the family
"Oh there's the angry beauty" Earth waved to his son
Dunk rolled his eyes and went back to sitting next to Joong
Joong looked at Dunk with a worried look but Dunk ignored him
Joong put food on a plate for Dunk and peeled the shrimp
"Thanks" Dunk muttered and ate
Joong smiled
"Wow baby, peel the shrimp for me too" Gemini asked from Fourth
Fourth laughed and peeled the shrimp for him
Joong and Dunk looked at them with side-eye
Pond took some sushi to put on Phuwin's plate
"Hey stop" Phuwin stopped Pond from putting it on his plate "I'm allergic to avocado" Phuwin apologized
"Oh Shia, how could I forget" Pond tapped himself on the forehead
"How to forget? I never told you that..."
"What? Oh no...uh" Pond stammered
"He knew this from the party because we were in charge of organizing things and we got a list of allergic people and what each is allergic to" Joong save him
"Yes yes" Pond confirmed
"What list-" New started to say and Joong shoved food into his mouth
Joong and Pond giggled awkwardly
"Ok" Phuwin looked suspicious but went back to eating
They continued to eat in silence
When Dunk finished eating he called Joong and asked him to come with him to the beach
"WITH ME???" Joong was shocked
"Yeah I need to tell you something" Dunk said
"Shia he's going to stab me and drown me in the sea to pay me back for everything I did to him" Joong thought but still came with a dunk
They advanced towards the sea
"What did you want to say?" Joong couldn't help himself
"Wait I will tell you when we'll get to the water's edge"
"He's going to drown me for sure" Joong's mind declared
They walked by the water's edge far away from everyone so that no one would hear
"I'm willing to give you a second chance" Dunk said
"WHATTT????" Joong screamed excitedly
"Are you all right there??" Earth yelled to them
"Yes we are fine"
"You only get one more chance if you hurt me in any way-" Joong didn't let Dunk finish the sentence he jumped on him and hugged him
"Thank you Thank you Thank you"
"Calm down, you haven't completely won my trust. We're not friends yet, but we're not enemies either."
Dunk on the one hand was supposed to break free from Joong's hug but it was quite cold and he warmed him up
Joong realized he was still hugging Dunk and let go
"Thank you Dunk I promise not to disappoint you or hurt you" Joong was excited and smiled
Dunk smiled back at him
They advanced back towards everyone
