[Aiza's pov]

I don't want to get married I am only 21 I am too young to get married, I don't even know this boy

Umar: You know right we can't disobey our parents you have to listen to them.

Aiza: But I don't even know him what if he is a red flag? What if he is a bad guy? What if he is an abusive person? What if he doesn't treat me well?

Umar: If he was this bad then maa, paa wouldn't have agreed for the marriage and, also they have asked your permission too if you don't want to get married just say no.

Aiza: Bold of you to assume i am going to say no to maa, paa. It's so frustrating right now, this is the first time they have requested me for something I can't just say no
[grabs her hair in frustration] Ahhh! I don't know what to do

Umar: Let's tell maa that we want to meet him so we can get to know him and don't worry I will be there with you ok?

Aiza: This sounds good, you go and ask mom

Umar: Why me? I am not going, you should go.

Aiza: Please na bhai please please, I'll do anything you want i promise.

Umar: Don't back out from your words I've recorded it, if you back out I won't spare you then
[shows his fist]

Aiza: Yeah yeah go now I want to sleep
[Kicks him]

Umar: [Throws pillow at her] izzat bhi kar liya kro meri bada hu tumse.(Respect me, I am older than you.)

Aiza: Haa haa jaao ab niklo (Yes yes go now get out)

[Pulls her blanket and throws it outside of her room]
Aiza: Mummaaaaaa dekhlo Bhai tang kar raha hai (MOM! Look bhai is irritating me)

[From another room]
Aiza's mom: UMARRRR CHOTI BHEN HAI VO TUMHARI (UMAR SHE IS YOUR YOUNGER SISTER )

Umar: choti bhen hai toh kya, usse bolo izzat kre meri (she is my younger sister,so what? Tell her to respect me)
[Aiza sticks out her tongue]

Meanwhile at zain's house
[Zain's pov]

Zain: Dad why are you even doing this to me? I already said I don't want to marry anyone.

Zain's Dad: beta, Aiza is such a sweet girl you will love her.

Zain: But still dad, I don't want to get married.

Zain's dad: bas yahi din dekhne reh gaye the ki aulaad apne maa baap ki ek baat nhi sunegi (Only these days were left to see, that children would not listen to a word from their parents)
[dramatically wipes his fake tears]

Zain's mom: accha accha bas karo ab aap bhi (ok ok now stop it.)
Zain beta unse jaake ek baar mil lo mein waada krti hu tum aiza ko jaanke bhot khush hoge badi hi pyaari bacchi hai vo
(Zain, go and meet her once, I promise that you will be happy to know Aiza, she is such a lovely girl.)

Zain: thik hai mumma mil lunga mein unse warna taane sunne milenge zindagi bhar Abba se
(Okay, I will meet them mom, otherwise I have to listen to taunts from my father for the rest of my life.)

[Scene: Aiza's room, the night before the meeting]

Umar: [Sitting on Aiza's bed] Aiza, are you okay? You seem really nervous about this meeting with Zain.

Aiza: [Pacing back and forth] Bhai, I don't know what to expect. I've never met him before. What if he doesn't like me? What if we have nothing in common? What if he thinks I'm too goofy?

Umar: [Reassuringly] Aiza, calm down. You're an amazing person, and I'm sure he'll see that. Plus, you're not alone in this. I'll be there with you, remember?

Aiza: [Sighs] I know, but it's just... What if he's not what I've always imagined? What if he's too serious or grumpy, like they say?

Umar: Aiza, you can't predict everything. Maybe he's just as nervous as you are. Meeting someone new can be intimidating, but it's also a chance to discover a connection. And remember, our parents wouldn't have agreed if they didn't think he's a good match.

Aiza: [Nods] You're right, bhai. I should give it a chance and see where it leads. I just hope he's friendly and understanding.

Umar: I'm sure he will be. Just be yourself, and everything will work out. Now, let's get some rest. Tomorrow's a big day.

Aiza: Thanks, bhai. I'll try to calm my nerves. Goodnight.

[As Aiza and Umar have this conversation, her anxiety about the meeting with Zain is evident. Umar offers support and reassurance, reminding Aiza to be herself and stay positive about the upcoming meeting.]

[Next day]

[Umar entered Aiza's room]
Umar: let's go Aiza, we are getting late.

Aiza: 2 more min bhai I'm coming

Umar: omg! Your 2 mins is more like an hour.

Aiza: No, it won't take an hour. I am wearing my Abaya right now.

Umar: OK, come fast. I am waiting downstairs.

[As Umar waited downstairs for Aiza, he couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. On one hand, he understood his sister's concerns and reservations about the marriage proposal, and on the other hand, he also wanted to support his parents' wishes. He knew that Aiza was still very young and had a playful, goofy nature, but he hoped that things would work out for the best.]

[After a few more minutes, Aiza finally emerged from her room, dressed in her abaya. She had a slightly nervous but determined look on her face. Umar offered her a reassuring smile and said]

Umar: You've got this, Aiza.
Remember, we're just going to meet Zain and get to know him better. It's not a commitment to marriage yet.

[Aiza nodded, taking a deep breath, and the siblings headed to the living room where their parents were eagerly waiting. Aiza's mother, Aiman, was dressed beautifully and wore a hopeful expression. Her father, Hamid, looked equally anxious but supportive.]
