Jimin smiled gathering all of his teaching supplies organizing his desk and setting up his pens and a picture of his best friend. He hummed quietly to himself as the kids were at lunch and looked around his high school math classroom pleased with his decorating so far. He wanted the kids to feel they could do anything and feel as if they were entering a world of possibilities upon entering the room. He dusted the desk off and looked it over with satisfaction.
He'd only been at the school a week and was still getting acquainted with all the staff and teachers, but already the students were in love with him. Some students came by to talk to him even if they didn't have his math class. He had quickly grown a reputation for being very kind and sweet and well...handsome. He was quite popular in only a week's time.
He was still trying to settle into his environment and found himself making little adjustment to his desk and the posters on the wall here and there. A senior came in his classroom knocking on the door and smiled with deep dimples.
"Oh hello Namjoon, did you need something?"
"Umm, not really."
"I would be surprised if you needed help you're one of my top students, you could start college courses if you wanted."
The boy blushed sheepishly and pushed his glasses up shrugging.
"I just pay attention and catch on fast, I'm not that smart."
"Nonsense don't underestimate yourself, you're spectacular and will succeed at anything you put your mind to."
Namjoon smiled and nodded.
"Was there something else you came to see me about then?" Jimin asked clasping his fingers over the desk.
"Umm well I guess I just wanted to say I really like your teaching style and...to welcome you to the school.""
"Wow well thank you Namjoon, that's very sweet of you. The students are quite kind and respectful, much like yourself."
He smiled and Jimin tilted his head, "All the kids are at lunch, aren't you hungry?"
"Oh well I don't really want the cafeteria lunch and I don't have money to get anything special. I can only afford some ramen and I don't want that, I'd rather have some black bean noodles."
Jimin smiled and opened his drawer, "I have an extra tuna sandwich here, did you want it by any chance?"
"Sure!" Namjoon perked up and joined him at the desk.
Jimin chuckled and grabbed the other sandwich for himself.
"Well I hope this isn't inappropriate us having lunch together."
"What? Of course not." Namjoon said blushing.
Jimin chuckled and pulled out a bag of seaweed chips and split them among the two.
"So did you just come to keep me company?"
Namjoon munched on his sandwich and looked down then up again.
"Well...I guess I wanted to talk to you about something."
"Ok shoot."
"It's just, we all like you here and I'd hate to see you leave like all the other teachers who've started here. There's a reason why they keep having to hire new teachers."
"Oh?"
Namjoon nodded, "This is gonna sound crazy but....the school is haunted."
Jimin chuckled a bit, "Haunted you say?"
